  1. Ouch, I had a similar situatation in my freight galleon in low wind, but no where to go but through them. So glad I put 10 points into resistance or I would have lost some planks because my starboard side took so many hits.

  2. Sextant buff is your best friend, shows all the shipwrecks around and can last up to 2 hours. But other then that a dive suit and a lantern are all you really need.

The gold is better then flotsams, best we got was about 250, average is between 50 and 100. They are a great way to get gold early on.

They fixed this with anarchy patch. Did it get back?

I think its still fixed, my neighbors lighthouse has a 2 day decay timer right now (in lawless).

Did you log off after placing the lighthouse? Maybe there was a crash/ rollback shortly after you placed it

Because every single claimed land I've seen in PVE EU is 20% tax. Completely ridiculous to live and pay 20% tax. I live in NY and pay 20% tax as it is haha..Thats why NY is the largest exiting population state. Lawless=no tax. If the tax was 5%, maybe 10%..sure. But 20? No effing way. If a isle has good resources, we throw up a quick building with a bed and go on our way. The new claim system is complete garbage. When we stop at an isle with high tax, we farm the special resources and get the essentials at lawless isles instead.

Tax is additive now in pve, you do not loose anything, it just gives the land owner 20% of what ever you farm from thin air and doesnt take it from you

i dont agree, all this changes where made about small groups and soloplayers complaining about not to ba able to get a own claim, but this rubbish now made things worst for all the ppls who complained exactly about this.

the former system was not that bad specially for large companies, or more it was what you get in most of this bigscale pvp games this days.

Could be funny if it wherent realy sad for all players without a own claim now.

nope, rebuilding all my shit every 10 days wtf dude are you crazy? lawless is only an option to get your first shooner into the water but nothing

As long as you log on once every 10 days the timer resets, you can live there as long as you want and not have to rebuild anything. Your structures dont take damage. After 10 days of not refreshing the timer, they just become demolishable by anyone.

  6. We are going to play around on eu pve a little bit and find where we want to start out, so when na pve goes up we know right where to head first. I'm kind of bummed about the news, but we waited this long, whats another couple of weeks.

  7. We are a small company that was allied with a few other small companies and ran maps and explored together. All of the small companies in the alliance consisted of people that knew each other in real life.

To get around no alliances, after the wipe we are going to form 1 larger company, but its going to function like an alliance, where all the previous individual companies did their own thing, had their own ships and bases but we could easily come together to do maps, explore, or bosses, plus we could all chat in game. Of course this involves a lot of trust, but most of us have been allied and hanging out since the first week or 2 so trust isnt an issue.

  8. We are on pve, and we are going to take the time before the wipe to scout out potential new homes. Been in lawless since day 1, and since lawless won't be getting auto repair its time to pick a new home outside of lawless. We are also going to declare war on some of our allies and have some ship battles and base raids.

With the 6x we are also going to play around with ship builds, since Sotd will be in squads now I'm thinking the kite builds won't be as effictive so we will be playing around with armored builds and sailing as a fleet.

  9. When I park short term I just try not to block any ships. If i'm making an extended stay Ill park as far away from any bases or docks as I can, especially with my galleon, and I park perpendicular to the shore so I take up the least amount of shoreline.

I dont mind people parking on our shore as long as they dont block anything and its not more then a few days. I also keep several public water resivoirs and a public larder with food and milk near our beach, and will soon have crafting stations set up as well.

I wish we had a non collidable billboard sized buoy to mark our parking areas. Sure you can write on the current buoy but its so small its really hard to read unless your up close
