Did you actually have enough water depth to build the Galleon? You need to ensure you build your large docks in deep enough waters. Or it may destroy your shipw hen you release it. (As it drops down)

Possible fix: (Might be useful for devs too for testing). Cause: I sailed from Region A to region B with my old character. When we did, we DC-ed and went to character creation screen. After logging many times I made a new character. After a while I respawned on the ship in Region B and sailed it back to Region A (On my new character). When the server change happened I got ported back to my OLD character! (In the old location in the sea where the ship was). I couldn't move so I relogged. After relog I was on the location of the New character (with new character inventory) on my ship in Region B with the skills from my old character Pretty much fixed now!

Imagine being such a pathetic asshole that you would find that enjoyable. I mean we all realize there are bugs. Alpha is there to find bugs and to solve them. Something you can't do if you have to restart a character every so often. Besides the point I do believe everyone wishes to test higher-end stuff. And I'd wager you'd be upset too.

Well perhaps the Devs can assure is they are going to fix this so it doesn't happen again. And return any EXP and lost items to our new characters. Then no, I wouldn't be pointless.

Me and three others just changed servers as well and we got wiped.
