The sails count a lot toward the overall beauty of the ship. The beauty of the ships in atlas (Brigantine, Galleon and maybe others) is broken by the lack of a bowsprit and jib sails. The bowsprit is the spar extending forward from a ship's bow. Same Just Happened to me, unsure if it was because i repared the shipyard during the ship crafting. I placed the mats, selected the craft and then when over the ship ouline was not there, I disconnected and reconnected but it dose not seem to fix anything. so well lots of mats lost...
