Tried that. Was all excited, got to the zone line from L5 to L4, crashed, character got deleted.

I had the same issue sailing from L5 to L4. Crashed at the zone line, when I went to rejoin it took me to character creation. Tried numerous times, restarted game, etc. Character is gone.
