Candyman

I am playing through Steam. I can connect to the official PVE server and the official EU PVP server, but I can't connect to Kraken's grasp. It sometimes lets me in the game for a brief 30 seconds then kicks me out. Sometimes it doesn't load at all and kicks me out after character creation. I get the message "host connection timeout". Would love to play this game with my friends but can't connect. Please help!
