I am having the same issues. I will be losing everything very soon and am not happy in the least. I absolutely understand that things happen. But fix it! I am on whales server as well and have busted my butt getting everything that I have. Hours and hours and hours of game play. Please check that server. I am not sure how many ppl have to post here as well as in steam until this is looked into?????? I can not get in the game and have not had an issue until this last update. If by some chance I do get in which has shockingly happened two times, I can not do a thing. I can not open a chest to check on food or anything. During this time i was breeding when this issue happened. I had to have a friend go in the game to care for it on my account. I should not have to do that. I really hope this is getting looked into and a fix is coming. This is not fair to anyone on that server right now. I am sure they will leave as well if there things are lost. Please check the connection with battleye as it has mentioned that in the errors as well.
