Ran into this issue the other day. Checked the forums, no help. Then I finally figured it out. So you know how when you're taming a bear. You'll find the sweet spot, and sit there, feeding it every 15 seconds, til the bola is about to give out. Well with the elephant, you can't do that. It will start hitting you after the first or second feeding. Instead what you do is, feed it once, back away, 15 seconds goes by, creep up, feed again, back away, repeat this process until tamed.

Sure feels dead...

On NA PVE it's so dead, there are 3 122 point islands opened up after a mega corp dropped out of the game. And less than half of the polar regions seem to be claimed now. How's it looking on the EU and PVP end of things?

You'll have to explain this one. As far as I can tell there's no issue with pc players playing along side xbox players. With the obvious exceptions of performance and the ability to cheat/mod.

Perhaps speaking about the blue indicator suggesting a piece is to be placed at point X and when placed ends up placing at point Z. Forcing you to pick up and try again. Assuming you're not placing high over head, in which case, grab a grappling hook just to remove the misplaced piece.

Ships can only be claimed in pve if you've unclaimed them.

Kinda sad running around seeing so many abandoned buildings and animals everywhere. Barely a pulse anymore.

Yeah I think I've got quite a few actually. 

Located in the far east, the island of Brimheller O12, there are about 200+ bears waiting to be sold. All bears are unleveled unless elsewise marked. 100 gold per wild level. Levels range from 40 to 80.  I do not have discord but I am around most days. Feel free to drop by and browse the bears.

I've got about 200 bears of varying stats, all bred. Some imprinted some not.  I've spent so much time on the breeding I haven't even sorted and priced them out yet. But if you're ever in the neighborhood, stop by Brimheller island in O12.

I hear things only get fixed if you remain silent and complacent. 

What I want to know is, where are all the Jellyfish?

How high on the melee pre imprint are we talking? And how much are you looking to spend?

Also no aim bots for xbox users, which again begs the question, why bother with pvp if you're an xbox user? It's well known that companies cheat in pvp, and cheating is only possible for pc players, once again at an advantage over xboxers.

It's a known issue that there are coastal rocks that only pc players can see. I've used her pc a few times to navigate my ship out on the xbox more than a few times.

How does one even begin to rationalize playing this on the xbox vs. pc player, when the xbox is limited on graphic handling capability, causing non-stop lag and rendering issues? As if the invisible rocks/viewable to pc users, weren't bad enough, a single fleet of enemy ships approaching can dashboard your whole game due to rending trouble.

Lag is your best defense. Bring as much random shit to battle as you can, and pray they lag out to the point of being disconnected.

As for repairing being unavailable. That likely means that parts of their building have gone missing, most likely due in part to the disappearing structure glitch.  If the walls/floors are too close to another structure it won't let you put up walls, even if you were able to build prior. The build distance system is totally jacked up atm. And likely won't be corrected/adjusted for sometime.  As a small island owner, I strongly suggest having a zero tolerance policy for island occupants. Limited space and resources aren't meant to be shared by multiple companies. To keep people from building on the island, I'd suggest well placed foundations with some pillars, to prevent anyone from finding build space.

You've got 24 hours to demolish new buildings on claimed islands. If settlers were already there, you're stuck with them til they move on.

I solo maps with bears all the time. Trick is to get a pack, they don't need to be great. 6-8 bears will shred any map.

Lets not forget buried sunken treasure, animals flying off the ships and my personal favorite, maps being spawned inside your base by other players while you're not present to deal with it.
