Gorgon's Gaze / A4
I've started playing Atlas this past week with an invite from my brothers. I originally started in E5 rather than what I later learned were free ports. Upon taming animals I found I could not issue commands even though I had the appropriate skill set. I also couldn't rename them. Really, anything in blue after pressing and holding the E button, I had no access to. The same was true after building a boat and hiring crew. Anything in blue on the E commands wheel I have no access to.
I've tried killing myself in a variety of ways, changing my home zone to a free port and then killing myself in every manner I could think of. Yesterday, I created a new pathfinder and starting in E4 at a free port, but my character is still bugged in the same way. I'm currently in A4 and trying to live with it until I can find a solution. I've searched through the posts and haven't found anything with exactly the same issue though I'm hoping there's an easy fix. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
