Make Tames Great Again!

Recommended Posts

With the current incoming nerf of the elephants carry weight, It is time we push Grape Shot to Make Tames Great Again!  Now, as it stands, a player at higher levels can gather stones, metal, and wood faster than the tames that were meant to enhance the gathering of those resources. For instance, the elephant gathers about 10 to 20% more wood in a minute than a player, but can carry about as much as the player or less with the incoming nerf. To add, the bull was suppose to supplement the gathering of thatch, but a player with a stone pick can gather more a minute.  We cannot let this stand! building huge fleets or bases will be a thing only huge and very large companies will be able to do with their sheer manpower.

So to combat this trend of nerf this and that, lets look at what the tames should actually be able to do.

- All tames meant for gathering should have a saddle that buffs carry weight or a cargo cart that you can mount a Ship Resource box to that either buffs carry weight or let the cart carry resources inside an integrated inventory. This can encourage more caravans and resource trains and maybe more battles over said loot by pirates.
- Buff all mounts harvesting with a saddle or attachment that gathers more of certain targeted resource. For instance, a head piece for a Rhino that adds a hammer, ax, or pick looking object that enhances which resource it will gather more of. Pick = Metal, Hatchet = Flint, Hammer = Stone
- Also, tames should have a higher amount of stamina. 3 hits to a tree with a level 40 elephant should not empty their stamina bar completely.

These are just some idea's I have had to bring tames back and make them usable again. Currently, we a Scales and Sails have tons of tames, but only the bears are being used because the other tames are too much of a hassle, and players can gather more resources by hand with the correct tools and carry more in their inventory than most tames.
