New antisinking system and couple more questions

It's horrible. This new system works just disgusting. More precisely, it does not work at all. How can you get out of a foreign ship if you are constantly in a hanging position? This is an extremely strange and unfortunate decision, in my opinion.
Question number 2: how can young creatures be raised, if in average temperatures a storm can be -81 degrees, and in the afternoon at +20 do the same bear cubs have overheating? There is no air conditioning, as in the ARK, and water does not give any cooling effect! (I checked)

I really like this game, but such situations lead me to despair.
