Is it possible to remove XP from a player?

i'm curious if anyone has tried removing XP from a player.  Essentially, I was testing some admin commands on my server with killing an alpha and I ended up with a crazy amount of xp for some reason... currently just over 7million..  i'lll include a screenshot below.   I tried using the addexperience command with a negative value, but that did not do anything.  thanks for any assistance.

99% sure not, this game work a lot like Ark where we couldn't remove exp and most admin commands are the same.
I suggest you make tests on yourself so you can delete the character and create a new one.
