Restarting Individual Grids Safe?

Hey Folks,

So a few weeks back I found myself restarting individual instances and whether it was responsible or not... Redis seems to have derailed and players were being forced to create new characters. I was never sure if it was because I was tweaking grids individually and restarting them as opposed to restarting redis and all instances together. 

Recently I realized rates for 1 grid wasnt where I wanted them so would it be an issue to bring that grid down only. Change it and bring it back up without taking the others down?
