How do you place a door with no doorframe?

Ive built the door, but I don't have any snap points to place it.

Anyone know?

You would need to build a door frame.

And the doorframe needs to be placed on a foundation.

Where is the doorframe though? I dont see it is constructables?

You're correct, there is in fact, no doorframe. lol

Also for sloped roof there is no end piece triangle to finish off the roof.

You are forced to just go ceiling and make a box.

As someone who absolutely loves building in Ark... Im not sure if this thread makes me want to laugh or just sit down and cry.  I gotta have doorframes!!

Wait, so they didn't even implement the basics for actually building properly in the game yet?
I mean, it's the same devs as for ark right?
Based on how much has already been copied over, did they just forget the doorframes or?

The door frames are part of the wall system. Build a wall and you will have the option to change it to a doorframe or windowed wall etc

Not entirely sure but when I was building a hut, if you pressed T with a foundation it would turn from a square to triangle foundation. I didn’t actually make a door but I’d assume you could press T while building a wall to turn it to a doorframe

Yep based on what Oodin just said, you have to press T to change the wall to a doorframe, you can do this a lot of the structures.

Oh thank goodness!  I was super worried and sad about the possibility of no doorframes. lol!
