lawless islands seem to be more populated than claimable ones

which is so wrong if its true (and an indication in what a failed state the game would be), because if its true it means the majority of players have to play there because they werent quick enough to claim land lol

There is no claim land system per se in lawless... and anything you build (which is your claim) is a count down to enable it to be demolished. People can go to lawless land and play the game (sort of if they could sort out the respawn system).
