Dying and Have to make new Character at level 14? WHY

So i my friend killed me because i was low on health on the boat, after the restart of 33 min ago and now i have to make a new character and my friend tells me i am auto removed from the clan? WTF? I restarted steam and everything. on PVE SIren Our ship is gone, rank is gone.
I do not want to make a new character, but it forces me to make one again... wtf WHY,
It was allready hard enough after the skill reset and now this?

just exit out and rejoin. it is a bug that happens randomly.

not restarted steam 4 times and restarted pc, it forces me to make a new character and it pushed me away from my friends clan
