**THE CODE OF THE HARBORMEN:** As a Harborman, I dedicate myself to improving the gaming experience of others by providing help, instruction, and encouragement at every opportunity. A Harborman brings strength to those without power, provides knowledge to the inexperienced, and shelters others from threats they cannot face alone. As a Harborman I am, above all else, a civilized human being. I shall abandon courtesy and goodwill only for good cause, and seek always to begin with friendship. Though a Harborman, I am also a player of games. I will engage in good-natured contest with other players, and of course I shall play skillfully and with honor. In any fight with a truly evil enemy, I shall use my most brutal and effective tactics. I know that the cruel, the criminal and the cheat deserve no better than to be unfairly and completely defeated. Though I oppose cheaters and seek to defeat them, I shall not use their methods. Cheating is harmful to the game itself, and cannot be justified. As a Harborman, I owe my help to no-one. I may choose who I help, and may refuse to assist one who does not at least grant me essential courtesy. Neither fear of loss nor lack of confidence in myself shall stop me from attaining my goals. I shall always find a way to win. While I do accept responsibility for more than my own entertainment, I will remember that games are meant to be fun. I will not forget to enjoy the game, lest it become a chore.
