  1. Everything is going to draw inspiration from other games. It's kinda like calling Portal and Portal 2 the same game. They both have the same exact mechanics/gameplay with different levels/features, but they're still in turn different games. It's similar to ARK, but ARK has a great system for long term progression, so I think they wanted to stick with what they were used to simply because a lot of the ATLAS team is from ARK.

You might not want me here but not only do I have every right to be here but I am more important than you are. The devs need criticism more than they need blind white knighting. You are more than welcome to leave if you do not like it though 👍

I'm not white knighting at all. I'm fully aware there are problems, and I'm not saying they're not problems and that the company is perfect. I'm simply saying you're complaining about an issue we all know about. Nor did I say that you didn't have a right to be here, and no, you are not more important to me. That's simply a stuck up, cocky attitude you have for no reason. If you'd listen to what I'm saying, you'd realize all we can do is sit and wait for fixes to come, and complaining will do absolutely nothing except vent your own frustrations, which to be frank, none of us care about. We are all going through the same things. 🤷‍♂️

    Doubt it

It's sad that's the only argument point you can come up with. Again, if you don't want to play the game, you can simply refund it. I don't think anyone wants to have constant negativity from people like you that only come here to complain. Have a great day, the steam sale has plenty of games you can buy with $25 ❤️

Anyone else seeing v2.0 on the game, but showing servers "servers 2.1" ?? Is this a typo?

They tweeted about it, 2.1 is just a serverside patch, nothing on our end. So wether you see 2.0 or 2.1 on your game, it doesn't matter

Nah we knew wildcard were liars for years 😂 what a worthless dev company

It's also an early access game. Instead of buying the game with the full early access notice right on the store page, and then coming to the forums just to talk about how there are issues, just refund the game. We all know there are issues, but we all understand that every game has issues especially at launch, and very much so with a game this massive. 33k people is still a jaw dropping amount of people on one map, and i'm sure once the servers are more stable they will deliver on the 40k people promise. If you don't like the game, refund it. That's all I can tell you.

This is a situation that, given the scale and size of how much people looked forward to this, just could not properly be accounted for. Did we account for mass purchases of the game when it's made available? Yes we did, yet steam still got all wonky. Did we account for tons of players from all over the world trying to join in the moment the servers go up? You bet. Yet even then actuality still vastly exceeded our already sizeable preparations. It's just one of those situations where you plan big, then plan bigger than your big plan, but your plans still don't size up to the situation at hand.

I appreciate you standing up for this, because honestly most companies would just sit there quietly. Take your time, me and many other people are still excited to play this game. All these people just made a forum account to complain, they didn't even set anything for a picture lol. You guys take your time (but pls do have a little more communication, I do have to admit it can be slow to get word from you guys sometimes)

The worse for me is the fact the devs/ community support are not even making us aware on time scales etc of when we can actually join a server?

Look at any massive MMO these days, they're never ready to support the amount of players that flood into the game suddenly. Again, if its a huge issue for you, wait until the launch issues are all sorted out and the game runs smooth.

never easy give them time.... 2 weeks late and now 30 minutes late from their official start, that price for early release should have been 15 dollars at this sorry rate .

Is this a marker of how this company will be doing things late and not on time.........

dont post an official time and date if you wont keep it. i have never had a game give you a time of day its going to be live and not maker it. date yes but actual launch no.. as we will be paying beta testers for the next 2 years.

I fully understand, but, I have to argue that I appreciate them not putting out the game with bugs/glitches they found during that extra week and a half. They want to make this game worth its price point, not half-baked for cash.
