  1. personaly i can make either times work around my life, but there are already some in my company who work 8-9 hours shifts who just cant, one other change would be to double the maturing cycle allowing people to miss imprints and still reach 100% but this probably wouldnt go down so well with players 


  2. currently most imprinting windows are every 8 hours alot of pople work so they always miss at least 1 of their imprints, what i suggest is increase the total time for breeding and increase the windows to 12 hours between each imprint, so for bears instead of being once every 8 hours for 40 hours do it once every 12 hours over a 48 hour time, for teir 3's its even worse as its once every 8 hours for 70 hours so do it once every 12 hours for 72 hours, this will make it easier for people to get 100 % imprints, also 6 hours for the actualy birth is pretty bad either reduce it to 1 hour like bears or increase it to 12 hours making life so much easier to time things, people do have lives outside of games and with the current timings for breeding people are having to work their lives around the game

    So I planned the kraken for yesterday and today. Doing 1.0 on Friday and 2.0 on Saturday. The problem with the kraken is that you now have 2 sets of stones so summoning the 1.0 is not possible for the group if everybody has the second set of stones. This made it so we accidentally summoned 2.0 on Friday and were able to work out a system that we hoped would summon 1.0 on Saturday which we did but it was still quite a headache. Word that we were going to do Kraken also spread like wildfire and so a lot of people showed up on Friday with a griefer of some kind that kept summoning the kraken early so we could not get everybody in at once and it really screwed things up.

     

    I have a few suggestions that would help clear this up.

    First suggestion is that a cooldown be placed on summoning 1.0 and 2.0 per company of around 12 hours. This would make it so a guy in a sloop can not just sit in the middle of the kraken and grief 100 players (Which is what happened). Also make it say who summoned the kraken.

    Second suggestion would be that in order to summon the Kraken you should have to open your map with M then hold right click to hold up your compass channel for a few seconds which would lead to the Kraken coming out. This would prevent accidental summons.

    Third suggestion would be that you can highlight the quest either voyage of power (1.0) or Journey of the Gods (2.0) to summon the different difficulties.

    The final thing I would recommend is that you put some kind of warning like 30 second until the kraken spawns.

    maybe something similar to how ffxi online used to do where you would register a time slot token for the world boss and only that group could then summon that boss, we could sail to the area of the map at our allocated time and use our token to summon 1.0 or 2.0 during that time period others can join but they can not summon the boss over and over to greif people and you can not summon the wrong boss by accident 


  4. thanks you for making an awesome game, a few bugs id like to mention,  and a few additions to the game would be awesome

    1, tames when bola's spin randomly making it very hard to feed them

    2, elephants and rhino's sometimes when stood in the same spot as feeding for the first 50% all of a sudden cant be fed even though the text is there,

    3, i literally just used beds to port to each of our lawless outposts and the land would not render at all after 10 minutes of being on each island 

    additions id like to see ;

    1, crews being able to repair everything that is on a ship not just the planks and decks

    2, being able to move all resources with 1 click from tax bank to the nearest resource chest 

    3, a short cut key added to ship commands that lets you unseat all crew on your ship only and not a whistle that can affect all ships near by, and by pressing said key a 2nd time puts the crew back onto their posts 

    4, customised sizes of gates so we are not forced to place the behemoth gate for elephants rhinos and giraffes which is ugly as hell 

    5, the ability to move a set amount of resources out of the resource chest instead of drag and drop massive amounts 

    6, the ability to move through other players so they can not block the caves for fountain of youths and power stones, also make the power stone as a none drop item on death but keep the decay on it, an example of why not being able to move through players is very bad, on age of conan my guild blocked the stairs up to the teir 2 raid for 2 weeks until the devs made it so people could walk through each other, meaning no other guild was able to do the raid at all other than us, unless they paid us so the devs fixed this issue by adopting the same system as WOW where a players body was transparent of sorts and you were able to move through it 

    6, increase the exp a little on ships for killing sotd, and increase the exp from maps, pre wipe it was way to high i agree 7 lvls from a masterwork map was mental and max lvling a ship in a few hours was nuts, but now you get next to no exp from killing sotd's and 1 lvl for a master work map is a joke

    7, can we get a new sea based boss fight that involves actualy fighting a ship getting it critically damaged we board the ship then fight skellies of the damned once they are dead we then have to fight the captain of the damned 

    8, please can you fix the way building materials clip to the ships having that gap at the back is annoying and kinda makes the emergency lander unusable on some builds

    9, now that whales have had their gold nerfed their damage buffed and their health buffed could you please UNNERF the ballista's 

    10 loot from ship of the damned despawns way to fast and the suitcase is damn near unlootable if its above the water and graple hook does not pull the suitcase in you just spin endlessly below it please fix both despawn timer and teh ability to pull in the suitcase

    7 an increase in time before the flotsam from a shim of the damned disapears and make the suitcase able to be picked up with a graple hook as currently it isnt

  6. hey my company is 9 members we are super active currently have 1 galleon but can easily build 3 more so we have people available for the Balista and repairing of the ships, havent started farming the powerstones yet but ive been attempting to form an unofficial alliance between many companies for getting diffrent stones and we all do the kraken together, doesnt matter the size of the company long as they can bring a galleon and keep it maintained and use balista for the tenticals 


  7. my ship was lvl 22 and i killed anything i seen some were lvl 1-10 most were lvl 20-30 and the 56 galleon only gave 1.5 lvls after killing it, yes lvling should be slow but compared to pre wipe it is like 100 times slower, pre wipe you could make a sotd killer go out for 18 hours and get the ship to max lvl, now it feels like it would take about 2-3 weeks to get the same amount of exp, even doing maps seems so much slower a common used to give around 1 lvl at lvl 40-50 now it takes 4-5 maps a green would also give 1-2 lvls now it takes 4-5 still to get one lvl, a blue would give 2-5 lvls and again it gives 1 lvl if your lucky, masterworks could give up to 7 lvls at 50-60 not found one yet so cant say how many they give now 

     

    i am lucky as i have 2 accounts so i can cover skills that the other cant get but with the lack of levels compared to pre wipe people can do alot less with their 1 accounts 


  8. i took out a lvl 56 galleon yesterday took almost 400 cannons kiting it with a 9 cannon back loaded brig, i took zero damage but ran out of ammo so could not kill the 2 other galleons in the pack i missed maybe 2 in 10 salvos with most shots all 9 landing but most of the time 5 of 9 landed, only got 1.5 lvls out of it which is kinda pointless

  9. has anyone started farming the power stones or plan on doing the kraken soon, my company would love to team up with others doing them maybe get different power stones so we can get all 9 between many companies and get it killed so we can all start with the trench area and getting giant crabs

    they are definately slower, it now takes hours to sail over a few grids where as you could do it in an hour or 2, but im finding it takes half a day to get anywhere now,
