You likely need to set Windows to show Hidden Files and/or Show System Files.

Yes, I play on an Official, and have used the method twice now to get logged back in.

If you are getting the 'connection timedout/lost' message and its looping (continually trying to connect over and over) try the following.

Close out Atlas;

In your file manager, navigate to X:\Steam\steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Saved (X being the drive your Steam/steamapps directory is located);

Rename the file "ClientGrid" to "ClientGrid.old;

Restart Atlas, and choose Rejoin Server.

If this does not work, or caused further problems, simply rename "ClientGrid.old" to "ClientGrid"

Should not be an issue as a new (updated) version is generated when it missing. 

Worked for me.

• have sneak 1 and 2 if possible.
• stand/crouch on the animals underside, just behind the front-most HIND leg. 

was having major difficulties last night with them, using the above i tamed three this morning, two level 28's and a level 30, and they were a piece of cake.

i can vouch panda is chill. i still have my lawless outpost, but now have a claim on the island he is on. tax is set to 30% though, so be aware of that. oh, and bring your furs, otherwise, its a nice place.
