There is a sneak skill, but it doesn't really work on sharks and eels. The still seem to agro you from half the map away.

have you tried placing a few ballistae on your boat, manning them AI crew and setting them to attack wild creatures and put them on free fire. Lure the stuff to the surface and let your AI crew deal with them?
Having said that, I agree with the sentiment of this post. There need to be some means of dealing with underwater predators in a more effective manner, speargun that does bonus damage to underwater mobs, bang sticks that scare sharks away for extended periods of time. Even if they made the pike do more damage to underwater mobs, god knows it's useless on land, give it an actual purpose Grapeshot.

These developers manage to change existing ARK mechanics to make them worse than they already are. They just make shit in the last few weeks ...
My guess is they're making breeding extremely difficult because they don't want the game to be tame-centric.

What's your point? It regularly gets to 45° where I live, and I don't die, even when I'm outside.
p.s. why would I use a defunct temperature scale that's basically only used in 5 countries in the world?

45° is not a "deadly" temperature, especially when you have the shelter buff. Please make it so that when you have the shelter buff, regardless of the temperature you take no damage. It's bad enough that 75% of the time, you can't do anything because it's either too cold (4° o_O) or too hot (35° again wtf? what kind of weak-ass pansy came up with this?) Please rework COMPLETELY the entire weather system. I'm sick of dying inside my own house when it's only 45°.

1 large speed sail > 2 medium speed sails in every situation. The second sail is a toss-up. I (like others in this thread) run a small handling sail for that little extra zip in a downwind situation.

Many people have tried it and succeeded. You just need to learn how to design with the space you have. Brig is 3 decks. Use the bottom deck for the larger crafting benches like the loom and forge, there's ample room to leave ceilings out to make headroom for taller benches. Kinda hate when people whine about stuff that's really down to their own ineptitude and an unwillingness to learn to play.

Turning off shadows removes fog. No idea why. I've never thought fog was a good addition to any game I've played. Why build this beautiful world, then obscure it 50% of the time with impenetrable fog.

If you're going to put giant rocks that can't be removed on the floor of the ocean, at least make them buildable meshes. This is yet another rookie mistake you made in Ark. It's super frustrating to try and be creative in this game when you people put in this kind of oversight.

2-3 Step Backup for SP
in Feedback and Suggestions
Posted
It would be nice to get a 2 or 3 step backup system for single-player saves. If anything drastic goes wrong with a single-player save, there's basically zero chance to save it.
