  1. I guess, because stairs are on an angle, and so would be a roof.

But, I built a foundation, and wanted to build a second level, and needed stairs. I hadn't made a roof yet, since I'm not at that point, so you could see how I was confused.

    Thanks

  2. Never mind, I received an answer.

"Q selects snap point, T changes "type". Wall can be a wall, doorway, window, fence, etc. Roof can be roof, stairs, roof door, ramp, etc."

So a wall can be a fence, but a fence foundation can't be. A roof can be stairs, but wooden stairs can't be.

Yeh, that makes a lot of sense.

Who proof reads & organizes this stuff?

    LoL

  3. 1) How do I find straight stairs, or half stairs, I can only find the one that has the turn angle.

    2) I see fence foundations, but not railings or fences.

What controls do I need to cycle through or find them? Since I changed many of my controls, and there are quite a few blinds keys out there not listed in the key bindings, I may be missing something. I do have the Q & T keys, and Q does change floors and walls to different models, but that doesn't work on wooden stairs for me.
