I agree, game became so soft after the community cried about certain things and devs correct it TOO much to the point that I barely play anymore.

still an option to use cannons placed at beach area large ones , balistas , etc , all avaibale,  build jettys out into sea away from baech ,with cannons mounted ,  build playforms up from sea bed away from beach with cannon on them ,

Have you tested any of these suggestions? Have YOU had sotd attack near your base and managed to take then out with AI on cannons? last i heard, target ship option isnt working correctly. and most of these people luring the ships do it while people are offline. If you have great, otherwise quit talking out your ass. and dont compare this to ark mechanics when it comes to ships.

???? should be put on the map where the discovery is at. too many islands and sometimes the locals will gate off the whole area so you cant get your mount passed the gate, having to waste more time grappling over everything and possibly wasting time putting your mount back on the boat so the wildlife doesnt gang up on them. 

i've been just sailing around each island and briefly walking the area for more discoveries and then im out to the next without taking too much time there.

not sure if its fixed, but doing powerstones havr gotten people to the 70's-90's. Killing whales will give you a good chunk of discoveries as well.

do you have a ship? select move (animal name) to your ship or company ship thats near the raft. or put bessy down, its obviously easy to tame a cow. .than something like a bear or elephant that takes time.

But now all those people whom have left their claims are up to 20 days and they are not even playing. But yes the more claims you have the harder it should be to hold them tthus people get to be PIRATES - as this is a PIRATE game and can steal their claim. They should have left the open benches but locked boxes and so that we still have some thieving in the game thus getting to be PIRATES. Without having to deal with the hardcore screw you PVP server.

Pirates are cool and all but grapeshot should open the door to more than just pirates. Theres skins to be an officer and now skins for what looks like indian and orient style for armor. A little versatility in this game would definitely attract more people to play than just claiming it a pure pirate game. Lots of people arent even specced in any piracy and rather spend their points elsewhere. 

what worked for us. use another boat to push them through the server. you got to make sure to align the boat thats pushing accordingly
