Thinking you missed the thought here...they don't WANT you to suicide, they want you to survive. Doubt seriously they will make it a feature in the game since it's simply used to bypass the game mechanics.

I played Ark from the beginning till the wheels pretty much fell off. I'm familiar with exactly that experience. Best money I ever spent to play a game 4 years.

You've already paid for the game. Producers of Atlas have made all they're going to make off of you. What would it matter to them if you continued to play? Stop the completely nonthreatening claims that you will quit, and just quit if you're going to. The griefers are causing enough drama already.

China's internet is already heavily blocked by their own government. They are the largest consumers of proxy servers because of that. How would you suggest blocking them from playing on any region?

You can even inch forward without having to open sails if you hold w.

Didn't realize this was ship only, just jumped on my scooner and brig and you're right. Worked perfectly on both. Thanks for the tip and sorry for the confusion.

I saw your post, jumped on a spare raft I have, ran it up next to a ship yard and couldn't reverse it. It does not work. Worked perfectly in Ark, but this isn't Ark.

Took the wife on a very simple quest (message in a bottle) at lvl 16, by the end of the quest she was 33. Damage gives experience. Once we learned how much experience, we simply started a quest, killed all but the boss, reset the quest. That's the fastest way I've found.

I call bullshit. Nothing in your log tells you how your ship was destroyed. So how do you know it was SotD?

I takes a day to get 51, probably less once you've done it once or twice. Even if it took 2 or 3 days, it's not that big of a deal.

The issue here isnt how many claims a person has.

The issue is no one can get to keep their claims.no one gets to keep their effort.whatever youll invest youll lose eventually.

Most are not having the issue you are. Most understand the system, how it works, and how to maintain their own land. You are attempting to defend 14 claims, and coming here to complain.

Reduce your claim to 1 flag, as the system was designed. Learn to defend that claim, by sleeping inside that claim. Simple enough?

I don't see that functioning as a 1 man guild, grows to 500, how would his land expand if he were already surrounded by others?
