They don't quote based on competition, it's based on resources. Plus that would just be bad business.

AWS scaling would of made this all possible  

 

Game's basically just come out, I'm sure balancing will come into play once they see what needs adjusting.

Click your name in the upper right of your steam client

Click Account Details

Click View Purchase History

Click the Atlas "pending" PUrchase

Click Cancel

After cancelling there is a button to "re-purchase" it.

Try this, hopefully it fixes your mates issue.

Play NA if possible until they release Oceanic, start again once OCE is released.

There is an easier way;

Click your name in the upper right of your steam client

Click Account Details

Click View Purchase History

Click the Atlas "pending" PUrchase

Click Cancel

After cancelling there is a button to "re-purchase", after that it should go through immediately.

Not on launch but I recall seeing it planned in the future, i guess it will depend on the success of the game. I wish they had of used Azure or AWS for server hosting that way the entire world would have had access on day 1 or atleast the ability to scale in the future.
