Thought this would be a good idea/nice to see implimented -- thought of it while running around in a heavily forested area where it was hard to see where the flags were -

What if when you put down ur claim flag to declaim/contest an enemys claim - it "connected" your flag to ALL of the flags that it was currently trying to declaim with a brightly colored line, like a laser!,  would make it much easier to see what you were taking down, specially since all of the circles can get convaluted quickly with all the overlapping, 

it would also be nice to see a indicator on the map of where the flags were, not just a heavy red circle that hinders ur own X's visibility

another thought was - the "show contesters" should be on your dropped contending flag, not the enemys and the swords should last alot longer.

its like, even though they died, their bodies are still here haunting their homes..

so.. ive been patiently waiting for the chinese on my island to die off and leave, which finally happened.. and now that they are gone, their land is claimable, yet it is still somehow contested..

When you go to ping the flag to locate the contesters, it doesnt let you - by that i mean you press E and nothing happens at all, it just doesnt work - if you remove ur declaiming flag and hit E it pops the msg "challenge this flag to show enemys"  - so its not me or my E button that isnt working, it only works when there is some1 in the radius (tested it with a friend not in my company)

what im getting at, is there is litterally nobody near me my claim flag or in the contestable zone and yet its still contested..

bumping this, b/c i still feel like there needs to be some form of decay on player created things that havent been interacted with....  base next to me is still offline since day 2-3 still alseep with like 90hp(hasnt changed at all)  chinese have some how overlapped my claims and placed a foundation and campfires blocking a solid amount of metal spawn

they are in a building, last i checked mobs dont dmg shit that isnt urs

thats what im assumed.. but this persons been sleeeping at the same health since day 2, getting really tired of waiting..

sad no1 knows a solution to my problem

is there no passive decay.. or death while sleeping.. my neighbors all have 1x1 or 2x2 tatch houses with  and thats it.. and havent been online since day 1 of release..

people also dont seem to realize, the 3day saftey net for claims applys to new claims.. if you had your claim flag down before they changed the system.. you need to replace it.. otherwise your land is free to take.
