The weight of other companies members weight not having an impact on ship weight would create an exploit. One memeber leaves the company temporarily, standing next to a chest. Now he can fill his inventory with resources/items without any impact on the ship. The best solutions would be makeing the boat unmoveable when overloaded and limit the player overweight movement ability.

Really hope they find good solutions for the claiming of correctly upkept land, SoD (including the griefing possibility by aggroing and hiding behind another company's structure) and the insanely unbalanced carnivore spawn rates/speed.

I'm very confident, they'll fix this eventually, but atm. especially the land claiming bug and the griefing is potentially game brakeing.
