A further fix would be to cut the other zones too. Each iland should be a seperate zone. Offcourse this is mutch hader to do and needs to be done zone by zone and offcourse the zone should not be just the iland but the water surrounding it 4 times the max cannon range.

Unlike the Freeports who are pretty mutch split equal, the other zones will require a scalpel intrusion to cut them right.

This would lead to Unlag a lot of the zones. I dont need to load the people and animals on an iland if i dont plan to visit it.

BTW i hate the 5 min edit timer.

Right now a Freeport can hold 150 people spread around 4 ilands.

Freeports are however meant to be visitet and not just to start there so they are allways full. This lead to the creation of the lawless zones as a hotfix so more people could join the game.

Problem with that is that more then half the map are not claimable. So people cant build beds there and cant build their bases up.

The other half is in the hand of the bigger clans and Aliances such as my own and we like all the others  kill every random coming to our Iland to protect our ressources.

So here is a potential fix.

Cut the Freeport zone into 4 parts. 1 for each freeport ILand. So each of the 4 usal spawn zones is compelly seperated.

With this you can give each a capicity of 100 - 150.  Quadrubling the capicity of the freeports.

With this you can get rid of the Lawless claim protection and the new people get a land to claim too.

Sadly your not the only one... My wife is on ARK atm with our group on console. Im the test dummy for Atlas.

+1.  So far the best skill system rework suggestion i have read.

Its just nuts how many points you need to skill into the skill tree just to reach the pirate skill tree example right now.
