Yeah it's a shitshow from what I've heard.  I remade my character a couple weeks ago so I'm thinking I shouldn't have much competition when I turn 90.  It'll be nice, but I'll still be a bit behind on the permanent 10% buff.

Yeah, that's how the claim system works.  Has nothing to do with it being a neutral claim.

People would have just made a shit ton of stone gates if they knew the devs were going to be bumping up the resources in the next patch, which is exactly what they didn't want to happen.  Hence likely why they didn't say anything.

I'm not making an excuse for anything.  I'm stating you're out of your fucking mind if you think an empty raft could ever out-distance an aggro'd SotD.  Go ahead and try to prove otherwise.  You won't.

SoDs arent scary enough. Yes you see loads, but they barely ever aggro if you actually navigate correctly. Out of all the ones I have seen since day one, I have been targeted by one. 

 

My advice for people struggling with SoDs: Dont over-weigh your ship. Dont AFK sail. Watch and learn their sailing patterns. 

You're out of your fucking mind if you think even an empty raft could out-distance a SotD.
