Grapeshot, are you ready to listen to me yet?

Is anyone at Grapeshot Games willing to listen to genius yet, for my words can either bring life to a game or it can foretell certain death - as I have done dozens of times with other game titles.

I'm PvP, and I've been complaining since week #1.

Player population continues to sink.  In the beginning you had TEN times as many players searching desperately for land to colonize but NOTHING!  Absolutely NOTHING was available and we complained, and complained, and yet you did not listen, so in the words of Conan the Barbarian "Crom, if you do not listen, then to hell with you!"

The game has sunk to #42 on Steam's Top 100, and will continue to sink until you introduce Capital Flags.

Well said ViperGuyMike.  At one point (and maybe still the case), the total population of small companies vastly outnumbered the large companies, and neglecting them was where Grapeshot games made a catastrophic mistake.

As a matter of fact, 8 of the Top 10 Steam games do not have a Death Slope.

Irrelevant.  Steam still detects player activity regardless where they're playing.

You're right, the Death Slope is normal, for a game that will die an early death.

At present rate, Atlas will no longer be in the Top 100 in about 6 months.

The Steam Chart shows a declining slope since the game's inception, an all too familiar phenomenon also known as The Death Slope meaning the game is headed to an early death.  Now, the way to reverse this is to introduce the concept of Capital Flags where if a company loses its capital flag then ALL of its flags instantly turn neutral thus making more available land for everyone.

That's because it's a poorly designed game at the fundamental level.  It needs CAPITAL FLAGS so that larger companies can disintegrate instantly if captured which would free up a lot of land for everyone else.

Atlas Population Will Sink to 15,000 Max Because Atlas failed to implement this:  

For I am a God of game creation, for life is a game and helped to design it.

I've also saved games from extinction who took my advice, and watched those who refused my advice fail miserably and thus joined the graveyard of zero population games.

If Atlas fails to take my advice, it will still cling on to life but only moderately.  Instead of the 250,000 population that it would have with my ideas implemented, it will instead sink to a steady 15,000 max population within a few months.
