You're not wrong but seriously if your only goal in the game is to build a farm then you're going to be somewhat disappointed.  I only have one farm and it's in a grid I rarely visit anymore.  It's not impossible but not easy either.  You can do the end-game content without it.  

my only goal is to enjoy the game abit hard when limited.

So hard for anyone NEW to get into the game if there is no where to build!

Taken me 3 weeks to find a beach spot to build!

Now struggling to find a spot to build a farm because someone has built 8 (all same tribe) with the area of the spot i found. 

Just given up now!
