MisterMyztik 59 Posted January 25, 2019 Firstly I want to say I don't disagree with stone structures requiring organic paste and some metal now that i've had time to think on it, although i believe the metal requirement is too high there really wasn't too much to use metal for previously, we had 20k+ stockpiled. I do think that it will encourage trade and specialisation. However, if you do stick with this change, you MUST allow pre-existing thatch/wood building pieces to be replaced with stone, currently you are unable to do so if there is anything at all placed on that piece. (eg a smithy or a bed will stop you replacing the thatch floor underneath with a stone floor when you can finally afford to do so). Many many survival games have a system where you need to grind substantially in order to build with the higher materials but the majority of these allow you to "template" with a lower tier of building structure and replace it eventually when you are established. You have got to allow us to replace building pieces, regardless of what is built on top of it.
