New boss Encounter: Davy Jones and The Flying Dutchmen

You know of Davy Jones, yes? A man of the sea. A great sailor...until, he ran afoul of that which vex all men.

There’s is a lot of maritime lore about the the legendary Ghost ship that is cursed to travel the seas nonstop.

Im aware of the current ghost ship but this is something different.

 The suggestion is more based upon a different type of encounter where a company takes their Single best ship and faces off with one of the most legendary captains   (Perhaps the leader of the SoTD?) and his ghostly man o war ship (new unlock maybe?!? If successful).

 

The intent would be to really test the mettle of the captain and crew in a stressful, chaotic, hardcore end game event.

The idea goes like this they’d find this thing in a zone with bad weather ie fog cyclones etc but as oppose to a regular ship to ship fight there would be added elements.

element 1: the inclement weather keeps you from getting close making it difficult to avoid the nasty barrage from one of the meanest ships out there the man o war.

element 2: the company ship has to fight off boarding WoTD for a bit of close range pvp action.

Element 3: They must disable some of the cannoneers of “The Flying Dutchman” so they can get close to board

element 4: In unison the company must board “The Flying Dutchman” while the captain of the companies ship must continue to engage in ship to ship combat.
