disk write error on steam

so guys im trying to install the game, but when i update or try to donwload the game, a message appears: disk write error, im downloading now for the second time and it just stopped after 9gb of donwload and I received the same message, please help me

Download a check disk tool and run diag on your hard drive. Sounds like a bad hard drive.

i tought it was my hard drive, but i just installed assassins creed and had no problems
