  2. Regardless of all the bugs, this is a great game. During my short time of game play I have come across several situations where I can't help but think that there must be a way to correct it. BTW, I use an XBOX SERIES X. Keeping track with almost 300 tames can be a headache and some tames worse than others. For example the Yeti. This beast has an appetite that could kill a horse and as a result paying close attention to the food supply is a must. What if the name started to blink every time the tame reached below 10% health from starvation??? Something that could identify the tame as having this issue so one could be attentive to the tames needs...... Also, concerning the follow distance assigned to tames, lowest selection is horrible. Have you ever been on a Razortooth with a tiger following to get paralyzed from the neck down because the tiger justed meshed through the Razor and now has completely froze the Razortooth in place. Thanks for creating a challenging and fun game. Bang

I am creating this topic for developers about the taming and breeding system of animals, I feel that this part of the game is being left out and is one of the factors that makes me want to play Atlas, so as a first suggestion I think the time of the ballerina should increase from 1:30 to at least 2 minutes, the hitbox of the trapped animals should also be adjusted, because the elephants and giraffes end up hitting even when we are behind them, since the breeding system the time for gestation is very far, and may take up to 4 hours, I think this time could be reduced to 1 hour only and the time to procreate again should be reduced to 24 hours, there are other suggestions that I also find relevant to mention, for example, the composer, for me it doesn't make much sense make fertilizer in your own inventory, if there was a compost it would be possible to create fertilizers inside it with feces and straw. Another relevant point is the lack of at least one marine animal and a flying bird to be tamed, it would also be interesting to add fish traps. Something that also bothers a lot is the issue of animal transport, there is a mod that allows the transport of animals through a mystical bottle, asism as in Ark where we use cryopods, there should be some way we can transport large animals in a more organized way, but still influencing the ship's crew and weight. That's it, I hope that everything is taken into account and something is at least relevant, because for me these changes would be necessary.

Hi Atlas development team, First off I love the game and I know y’all receive nothing but hate and shade most of the time but I know you’re working hard to make this game even better than it already is and I wanted to say thank you and keep being great! With that said I know that many in the community, particularly the single player community as well as the PvE community, would appreciate it if you were to review whether or not you can have a crew member mount a cannon/swivel gun on a cargo saddle. While I completely understand the brokenness that ensued due to it being abused in PvP it was never really an issue in PvE and it’s honestly kind of a necessity in single player. Without being able to mount a crew upon a gun on a cargo saddle then one is unable to fully enjoy the versatility of such a set up. Having to choose between riding the tame or using the gun while stationary is completely different from having a crew member being able to shoot while you ride - this is single player mind you so it would follow that you should be able to do everything as a single player. It’s silly, to say the least, that to fully utilize this I would need to invite a friend into my single player game. In conclusion, seeing that the single player mode should have as many of the same game functions in multiplayer as possible, then making an exception to allow single players to allow crew to mount guns would make sense. A great addition for PVE players especially would be adding a transport ship for animals kinda like "Noah's Ark" so that when we dock our ship or lower the anchor if it's close to land a ramp would drop out from optional doors on the side of the ship to bring animals in and out or a ramp from top deck for larger animals like giraffes and elephants. Another feature to add to this that ark had the right idea with would be ships in a bottle a way to "cryo" a ship so if your on pvp offline raiding is a massive thing happening. This would be a way to store your ship so it doesnt get destroyed while your offline. But instead running the possibility of it being stolen.
  8. When leveling animals, the stats are not consistent between the increase amount shown and the actual increase when the level is put in. This only takes effect if an animal had points previously put into a stat, and you have logged into the server since its last level. Steps to reproduce: Look at the stat increase amount for an animal that has 2 or more levels available. Put a level into that stat and notice that it did not change, as (I believe) is intended. Leave the server by logging or teleporting to a bed on another zone, then re-enter the server. Look at the stat increase amount, and notice that it has gone up. However, when you put the next level in, it will only increase the stat by the first (smaller) number. If your animal has a 3rd level available, you will see the stat increase amount go back to the first (correct) increase amount. It looks like the stat increase amount is some percentage of the base stat amount, but it is getting confused between the base stat amount and the current stat amount when displaying the increase value. Some sort of initialization error, perhaps?

  12. @Jatheish (At first: sorry for my bad english, i am just a woman from germany, trying my best to write down my opinions in english) I see what the online player count is dropping down. I talked with a lot of people in different ark/atlas communitys about - why they dont log in. And i tryed to find some solutions for bigger problems. So just some brainstorming ideas. Let the players create a usefull city, a trading routes, habours and so on Bank System: Let the people up- and download gold to the own account, let them use every tribe-bank or ally bank for this. Taverne Food selling. Lets craft every tribe NPCs whos is only able to sell food, so a tavern makes sence. And buff the cooked food to something its worth shipping resources from around the world... and don´t down them to a 5-stack. Habour and growing citys Everyone can build a nice habour but for what? Look who is the bigges tribe or wich tribe hast the most landclaims in a sector. So THIS tribe, is able to place NPC Vendors or Auction buildings. If a tribe is able to create a player-friendly habour ... it will start to become a big trading habour /center. If there is enaugh space to land /anchor with ur ships, if u finde a lot of trade stuff and maby u will finde some land to rent from the tribes, for a small outpost, storage... something great can grow. Crafting a nice habour and make ships anchor. Give us a component for a quay wall, where ships can anchor. It is a pain in the ass to build a harbor and at the end the ships can not anchor. Dont let us waste tonns of struktures in the deep water to get the ships anchored. Landclaims (Idea is just for PVE. i dont know enaugh about PVP Server to make a suggestion there) U need a better system. Its not ok to run all the time to save ur claim (PvE) but also just loging in all 3 Weeks to make ur land save, its also not ok for the rest. So make some stats to check, how aktiv a tribe is/was last 24 hours / last week. Check up how many ingame hours a tribe has last 24 hours, last week. Check how many ships moving hours they have, how many ships released, how many tames got used and so on. Dont tell us exaktly wich faktors are how importent, so people dont find to much easy ways to use the mechanic in a wrong way. If u know how aktiv a tribe is and how many players are aktiv in real.... use that informations to manage how many flags they need = can hold easy and drop down the save-time for the flags. Use something like online hours or tribe aktivity points. Maby a tribe can have 1 Tribe Flag wich is save for 2 Weeks. Then set up more flags (save time 7 days) per 8 hours playtime/aktivity ... no mather 4 persons play 2 hours a day or one play 8 hours a day. If the tribe has 48 hours playtime / day - they have 6 more flags with 7 days savetimer. If they drop down the playtime to 24 hours / day ... drop down the savetime of each flag (not the one main tribe flag) to 3,5 days savetime... so they need to be more aktive or remove some flags to have more savetime. Land for rent Lets talk about why rent land/space to other players. If an enemy try to claim ur land. The tenant get an information also. The tenant has a kind of right to claim the land as first. He can take over the land before the enemy gets it. Maby let it cost an amount of 1000 Gold. (First renter on the flag, has the first right) Give this renter a chance to say "save the claim for the owner" - so flag stay save, without beeing claimed and for no money. Old ships standig around for weeks , blocking ur habour. If a Ships isnt moved for 3 days - let player klick on it to say "remove ur shit". The owner tribe get an information in a new log (tribe log is to full to find this info) , or mark it in an other color on the map). The owner tribe has 3 more days now, to just move it 1 meter (or just anchor it again) to show... its not and un-loved ghost ship, its in use. If they pass the 3 day timer... lets decay it between 1-3 more days, depents on how big the ship is. Let the people removed compleatly. If a player dont logged in for 4 Weeks. Remove them from the server. Compleatly... also from tribes and so on - clear that shit. Look into their stuf, so the tribe dont have bad penalitys cause of that. Ships - personal owner. Give the option "personal owner" to ships. Let the Ship Creater choose, its an tribe ship or an personal owner ship. And as an personal owner, u can unclain a ship, so everyone else can claim it and can choose claim as personal owner or as tribe. So we can build and SELL ships! TRADE SYSTEM! We realy need something like a trade window for an save share. Without taxes, or something like an auktions house. Just to say "take this and give me that", without the need to drop stuff on the ground. If i wanna sell a ship: I need something like a ownership notice, put it into a trade window and if the buyer put the right amount into the window, everyone can klick "ok", so we have a save deal. Same like resources. Use a selling box, put in the stuff u wanna sell and close it (say ready) ... buyer put his payment into the other side of the box and say ready, and if both klick a last "ok", the deal is done. Breeding 48 hours is a way to much. Temperatur... its to heavy to manage the breed, the babys dying to fast cause of the normal changes of the temperatur and u cant do anything against the warm/hot. Having 20 pinguins and 30 fires and looking into it for 15 - 48 hours - that cant be the right way. Sorry, but our tribe needs to work in real live. We can do it as a tribe, of cause - but if everyone needs to sleep or work... there is nobody who can manage it ... so we need some people without a work to be able to breed? In Ark i loved to be a breeder, but in atlas, its not possible if u have a real life. Ship Autopilot. I can put an npc on a ship weel and use the auto pilot. But why the hell it stop working, so far i leave the ship - so its useless? Of cause i know, it will just drive forward... yes i know, it will drive into an isle , will do nothing agains ghost ships (ok, i can set the npc on auto fire with cannons!) and will be a blind pilot. But if there is an autopilot - lt me use that! I wanna set it on drive strait forward and i can jump onto the bed on board if i think the npc need help. (i can see my ship on the map). If i loose the ship... its happed... let it be MY risc. There are a lot more ideas, but i am not sure if any one importend will read and think about it - and i dont wanna waste my time
  13. When I ride an animal or put items on a ship, the stats don't visibly change. When I am sprinting for a long time on an animal, the stamina bar doesn't deplete, but the animal does get tired. When an animal gets damaged too much, the hp bar hasn't dropped, but my animal is bloody and my screen is red. An example screenshot shows the weight, but its to all stats. In this picture, my horse could still not move. I am on unofficial, and there are no mods or cheats active that would be changing it. It is also happening to everyone on our server. Relogging/reloading the client and restarting the server do not change it.
  14. Today my company found a level 30 female lion. Perfect tamed so it came out to wild level 44. But now the lion does not seem to be leveling at all. It is not receiving passive experience or experience from killing things. Tamed day 372. it is now day 375 and still no experience.
  15. Used the radial menu to put a bear on a ship, however, the bear teleported on top of an NPC that was operating the sails and got stuck. We tried using the radial menu to move the bear to a different ship, but nothing worked. Eventually had to move the ship, and the NPC floated off into the air and disappeared. The bear is still stuck.

  17. - Fixed ability of players to feed through walls of taming pens and not get attacked. This was the wording used in the patch notes and I am assuming was never fully tested as now you cannot feed the animal UNLESS you get attacked. I have wasted 3 hours trying to tame an elephant using a taming pen and I could not feed it no matter what I did. The ONLY way it would eat is if it hit me and I hit E before it launched me halfway across the base. You can no longer tame UNLESS you are attacked when using a taming pen. Taming pens are a staple in this type of game for smaller groups and especially solo players. Tames shouldn't be this hard. Between the gun reload time, the MASSIVE amount of arrows consumed while taming(not to mention the bolas) we now need to tame without a pen, deal with OP alpha animals eating our tame at any moment, running for our lives to avoid being attacked while trying to bola, then make sure you have enough health when you do FINALLY bola it to feed it........ Please allow doorways to be fed through again. I don't mind taking damage through them, in fact when I tamed pre changes I never had an animal throw a fit. they were always docile with the occasional love tap when I came into their view. I was aways at the right angle which was slightly out of view of the animal. For the elephant, it happened to be right behind the ear. I tamed and traded a dozen elephants now and this patch made me give up the venture. it is not worth my time anymore. I'll go hit rocks for 30 minutes to farm metal and pay for the things I need. Congratulations, you just turned your decent game into a job.... Taming is not supposed to be this complicated.
  18. So the pet will have -0.0 weight after using transfer all (I think while riding). So far the only fix I have found it putting weight on the tame (bug will go unnoticed if it has a saddle, I found with bug with pigs).   19. so we lost all our tames this night.... seems the wolves are still glitching inside walls and killing all your tames when you are offline they where behinde big stone gates and our elephant even whas having his owne pen so the alpha wolf glitched trou 1 big gate to get to the first group of tames and then trou a other gate to the elephant and you guys say >> we fixed the wolf<< ???realy where??? they still glitch inside bases and kill tames / people and when you fight with them they jump like frogs and yesterday i got even launched into the air and almoste fall to my death and now i can spend hours replacing my tames just to find them dead tomorrow again?? fix those wolfs ASAP and there stupid instand respawning when you have 1 dead can spend hours and hours on this shit way of taming all for nofhing -.-"
  20. 2 bear in 2 day sink after transfert in boat and die .. that piss me off .. lot of time lose every day .. fix your thing if you want keep your community .. who gonna give me back my bear now ?? i cant respec and im not a tame guy ... serously thats suck ..
  21. Hello. On PVE, we depend on tames for protection and travel. The latest tame nerf has come to the point where a level 1 tiger can take out my level 40 bear, while I am mounted. This nerf affords no protection and makes tames practically useless, since they are easily killed while trying to gather resources or travel. All we can do at this point is keep them in our barn and hope nothing spawns inside. I think the nerfs were to improve quality of life in PVP, but for PVE it is actually decreasing quality of life. I understand this is early access and know/hope there will be further balancing in the future.
  22. Yesterday all my tamed animals would switch to passive from other stances, even after switching them back. Today they refuse to change to anything other then passive, I've whistled and manually tried to put them on neutral and attack my target but nothing.
  23. We recently tamed a nice bear level 29 and got 13 levels. But after it tamed we noticed it would not gain any XP points. We took it out killing things but still no XP points so of course it doesn't level. We really hope this bug can be fixed.
  24. Not sure if this is just me, but I have been having an issue with lower level monkeys that stop gaining experience and won't level. This has happened to me at least ten times with male and female monkeys of varying levels. What happens is this: Tame a monkey, its sits on my shoulder and I do a bunch of stuff. I set it down to apply its level points and once the monkey reaches lvl 8, the experience bar remains full but there are no more level up points for me to place and the monkey stops gaining experience and won't level up. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, or if I'm just super lucky. --EDIT-- So as of 6 January 2019, this leveling glitch has been cleared up. Thank you devs for your quick handling of this and many other bugs!
  25. After almost a Week, wasting 3 hours a day chasing and killing and using 100s of bolas. I managed to capture and tame a horse! Now I don't see many people in forums saying they have so I'm gonna say I'm the first one to tame one! Also, the wagon and carriage has no bonus, its just a skin. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a practical appliance for different saddles?
