Let me introduce you to a 7x7 PVE Server, already ranked in the top 20 (atlasserverlist), known as Disunity Survival! https://disunity.gg Hosted on the East Coast in the US of A, Disunity Survival is a whitelisted only and professionally hosted PVE & PVP Atlas game server. That's right there's some PVP grids too! They offer a friendly and mature (16+) community on a custom 7x7 map including all biomes, quests, events and custom mods.   3. Heya Folks! House Badger is a 5x5 PvP and PvE server with: Custom Flotsam loot tables in PvP zones. Custom Shipwreck loot tables in PvP zones. Custom dino loot tables on powerstone islands. 15X rates Max character level 151, with boosted stats per level. Ships cap out at 101 almost instantly. PvP raids are done VIA war tokens, with ship vs ship combat happening 24/7 in PvP grids. MINIMAL PVP rules - the more admins stick their noses in PvP the worse it is for PvP players, the PvP community can handle most grievances without me butting in. The PvE claim system is lawless, so don't worry about a PvE player taxing 30%. We have the 'standard' points shop, kits, lootboxes, and vote rewards. We currently have no "donation" shop, I'm not sure we'll add one. Kraken is active, and the snowman as well. I watched a company duo snowman last night and it was quite entertaining (they did win, with 1 of them left alive).   10. so what is the current meta for fighting at sea, brigs with heavies or boomer schooners? Light and fast ships? and what land pvp weapons are the best right now? Is it mainly grenades and carbines, or are oil jars ,plague catapults and and blunderbuss still good?

Hello everyone Due to a Nitrado Problem we had to wipe the Server and start over…... -PVP -Difficulty Offset 0.5 (Which means that we have higher level animals and stuff) -Max Player Level is 200! -35x XP gain (+ more XP for crafting stuff) No worries, getting to 200 will take some time still (when you hit around 55 treasure Maps are basically still the only way to get decent xp) -50x Taming (No instatames! Well, some very low Level can be instant, others are 2/3 times feeding and done) -6x Gathering -5x more Gold from treasure chests (don´t know how to boost floatsam) No Player or Animal stats are touched! Missing seeds (wheat for example) will be spawned in by an admin and handed out to those who ask for it Rules are just a few: -PvP only on Weekends or if both companies agree to pvp on weekdays (No offline raiding! That´s not pvp) -Don´t build shipyards at the freeport docks!!!! After playing pvp for some time and being raided and attacked by several boats , i noticed that blueprints are everything on the game. and blueprints cannot be completed easily unless you are on a clan with a lot of active players. top clans control the areas where mythical creatures spawn and by instance they have the best gear and level ,ive seen a mythical galleon full of people raid a base and take damage from ,50 mortars and more than 300 direct hits ,and still be able to sink all of their anchored ships and leave. To some this is perfectly normal , but honestly this is out of balance , being abke to replace so many planks also deems fights unrealistic , and always to the disadvantage of lower level players. Im not saying is the fault of the big clans. There is just need of a balance , limit of planks that can be used per time . Or the amount of resources you can take per boat class. Maybe make blueprints not require materials to craft. that way new players can actually have good things rather than just certain groups of players that can play and farm all day. Luck should always be a factor on a game. Not only farm. Farm. farm. more than a salty comment this is a way to express that a change is needed, i am sure after a while only large clans will prevail and new or lonely players will be eventually pushed to pve and eventually leave the game. but it always looks bad for the new players who dont have a chance , on a game there should always be a luck factor, it kinda feels bad when someone can control your fate with the snap of their fingers.

  16. The trial version for Atlas expired. I clicked the buy button during my trial version on Xbox in the Microsoft store. Trial expired and now it will not let me play and there is no option to buy the full version. The only thing that is in the store is the game preview. I am currently reinstalling the game preview since that’s my only option in the store. I’ve hard restarted Xbox also. I want to play your game it’s awesome please help. UPDATE: Contacted Microsoft and the revoked my trial version of the game. “You should be able to play the game. When you get home from work”. I’ll keep you all posted.

  19. It is possible to use a ship to kite a ship of the damned to another players ship and hide behind it during peace time. The ship of the damned will continue firing at your ship despite hitting another players ship in front of you, which will end in you sinking someones ship during the peace phase of an island.

  22. Hi, i played atlas at release and then i quit after huge population loss and now i return at this season. I got 900 hours in this game and i feel like game is right on its tracks now i feel like every update make this game greater so good job dev team! First i have to mention the reason i play this game is naval combat. I played various naval games includes Naval action which i like most due to its mechanics. This game lacks naval diversity, i see people are trying different builds with ships but mostly they are getting sinked cuz theres always only 1 build that works for combat . Modules We definetly neeed more modules for ships like rudder, fins, anchor, ammo depot and all should randomly malfunction when they are not repaired fully. A rudder that can be damaged, broken and destroyed. Random malfunction: Stucked rudder. Finns that reduces your drag One use only anchors for fast manuevers that can be deployed from the front of the ship at shallows. Random Malfunction: released anchor due to a lucky shot. Ammo depot that can randomly catch fire slowly burns your ammo till you extinguish. Mast malfunction: Stucked sails. Damage Mechanics and Penetration Right now at naval fights your ultimate aim is to remove enemy ships planks. What if we didnt need to remove them? Cant just one shot creates leaks and damage internals and crew? So repair guys wont get bored? Different Plank types also would be nice to see to add on diversity on waters: Heavy plank: Slows the ship but has ticker armor and canon balls can bounce from it when they shot from certain angles. Medium plank: Average plank, Average penetraition protection, No speed debuff Light plank: Speed buff, low armor, low hp Ammo Types and More Calibers We need different types of cannons right now we have only two options, Medium Canon and Large Canon thats not enough we need more diversity. No, in real life you can turn the ships by just turning sails only if we were be able use the front sail and back sail seperately. If you move your sails like this the wind should push the front of the ship towards right and makes you turn right. If you move your sails like this the wind should push the back of the ship towards right and makes you turn left.   24. One issue ever present in Atlas is "Megas" and the lack of options for small groups outside of those mega power structures. I have a suggestion for this I'd like to pose to the community with a TLDR at the bottom The Background For those unfamiliar, mega companies or megas, are very large groups that right now dominate Atlas. I've personally experienced one group being so large that they split into 3-5+ Companies that ally each other. This is out of necessity. Defending an island is no small task. Making it so that you can hold that territory, even against a small group is difficult let alone being attacked by a large company or group of companies. This time and capital commitment is not my preferred game style. There are those of us that wish to play a smaller, more water based game that doesn't involve base building or land holding. As of now this type of play is only supported if you can find a mega to allow you to park in their already defended harbor. This causes more lag for them and many harbors have to be "opened and closed" to stop suicide ships from running them. This makes getting your ship in an out of this lag fest a hassle. Also, why would a large company care to deal with that hassle? It also eats up an alliance slot. These large mega alliances have capped out alliance slots as it is and a small privateer alliance just frankly isn't worth their time or slot. Many of the large companies this season have even given up on having any "renter" companies on their land for the same reasons. The Vision What I dream of for this game is many small groups all vying for resources on the water. Squabbling over a ghost ship loot, ship wreck or other npc content with loot to fight over. Harassing harbors and intercepting cargo ships. I'd like to see the ability for 2-10 man groups that want to play together not be forced into the landholding grind. The Path So how could this be implemented in a way fair to both groups? Holding land is a PITA so it needs to be valuable right? Small companies need to have the ability to exist with out big daddy alliance/company there to protect them. I think I have a good solution. The island holders need a buff. There should be a substantial amount of resources that each held island gathers passively and puts into the flag. The amount should be based on the point count of the island and how long the island is held. Islands in would automatically produce the items available on that island. If one island has iron while another one has tin the resources gathered in that island's flag would be different. This would go for each type of resource. Now one company using its points to hold one grid might not make sense. Instead a mega alliance/company might spread out and trade resources between the grids. This is great for everyone. Large companies will create content for everyone just by existing (moving resources between islands, moving ships around to defend islands, etc) while having a benefit for investing all the time and resources into holding and defending. So that sorts the island holders right? What about the privateers who want to sail around, drink rum and yarrrrrrr to our little black heart's content? Well I have a solution to that too. Add a function in Freeports for purchasing a slip. Have it scale with the size of the ship so that a brigantine costs more than a sloop. Nothing concrete but do 36hrs, Weekly and Monthly slip rentals. Lets say it costs 1,000 gold per week to store a sloop and 10k per week to store brig; something like that. I'd love to see this be an instance where you can actually teleport into it and walk around your ship and access the items. There shouldn't be an unlimited amount of ships stored either. I'd say no more than 2 ships per company or player. When you join a company all your ships must be undocked and all slip rentals forefit. Now you can build a ship and log off without waking up to a spawn screen, hop on with a couple buddies and create content for other players. The TLDR Resource gain to islands held by players that scales based on the time an island is held and island points it costs. Add a system for renting slips for small companies to be able to pay gold and store a ship safely while logged off.
  25. Hi, i played atlas at release and then i quit after huge population loss and now i return at this season. I got 900 hours in this game and i feel like game is right on its tracks now i feel like every update make this game greater so good job dev team! First i have to mention the reason i play this game is naval combat. I played various naval games includes Naval action which i like most due to its mechanics. This game lacks naval diversity, i see people are trying different builds with ships but mostly they are getting sinked cuz theres always only 1 build that works for combat . Modules We definetly neeed more modules for ships like rudder, fins, anchor, ammo depot and all should randomly malfunction when they are not repaired fully. A rudder that can be damaged, broken and destroyed. Random malfunction: Stucked rudder. Finns that reduces your drag One use only anchors for fast manuevers that can be deployed from the front of the ship at shallows. Random Malfunction: released anchor due to a lucky shot. Ammo depot that can randomly catch fire slowly burns your ammo till you extinguish. Mast malfunction: Stucked sails. Damage Mechanics and Penetration Right now at naval fights your ultimate aim is to remove enemy ships planks. What if we didnt need to remove them? Cant just one shot creates leaks and damage internals and crew? So repair guys wont get bored? Different Plank types also would be nice to see to add on diversity on waters: Heavy plank: Slows the ship but has ticker armor and canon balls can bounce from it when they shot from certain angles.
