  1. Not saving points, spending them in free time, like when safely sailing or at cold nights. As for free meat..., once had few hunderets of meat, it spoils faster than can ever eat that, don't want to fight a wolf every 5 minutes, don't need those resources ever (except hide, that is always usefull). As for cheesing stuff, never tested the hill but they got range... and if will get too close for example when being on a raft or rock, will just go flying across and fall down, hitting thro walls is not reliable, their hitbox is all over the place, possible but time consuming and wastes alot of wall/raft health, especialy if many of them come, was going into water, actualy that's 90% of wolf battles that ever did, bcs otherwise getting mauled in 1-2 seconds if didn't snipe atleast half of their health before first hit. Also there is no water all over the place, if will leave the shore, being already at the mercy if will notice that wolf before it spots us and if will hit their head 2-3 times for 100 dmg before their first hit and then being left with low health, wasting hunger to heal that up and possibly there are more wolves with that 1 anyway, not to mention in 5 minutes they gonna respawn.
  2. I haven't lost my cool over a computer game in decades. Tonight however, I literally broke 4 keys off my keyboard. The balance of this game, wilds vs tame, the number of wild spawns, the agro radii are verging on the ridiculous. Combine that with bugs inherited from Ark that still haven't been fixed 3-4 years later, I seriously wonder about the ability of the development team. I sit browsing reddit for four fucking hours getting to an island to get cloth woven from the hairs shorn with silver scissors from the legs of Venezuelan virgins because that's the only fucking thing that cows will eat, only to find a tiger and giant snake every 100m of the km I need to run. They of course kill me with three chomps and I can't defend myself because they're teleporting around because the entire cluster is running on a Raspberry Pi or something. I'm lucky that this time no one stole the stuff from my corpse on this PVE server, but I died another four times because there's a tiger and a giant snake every fucking 100m and a few giant spiders thrown in for good measure because be fucked if players are allowed to try and run away. amirite? Eventually I get my exquisite cow fodder and sit browsing reddit for another four fucking hours to get home only to find that all my tames, which were in a pen, saddled and on Neutral were eaten by a level 16 wolf which either spawned inside the pen like the trees and rocks respawning through my foundations because fuck using perfectly working spawn-suppression code from Ark, amirite? or simply glitched through the walls of the enclosure. So I go out to replace the tames. I tame a level 15 wolf and get a bunch of levels on her. Then I find an 18 bear. Great! You have created a taming system that requires us to be near the head of the animal. That's fair enough. Don't you think that you should've also fixed, before public beta, the collision boxes such that animal heads can't bury themselves in terrain that stops you accessing the head? It didn't matter in Ark because you could access the inventory from anywhere. Instead now I have to try to dance on the body of the tame, which bounces me all over the place, while the animal, a mere level 18, thrashed to a nearly-dead bloody pulp, bites with full force and kills me with just three chomps despite wearing plate armour. Of course when I die the bola magically disappears almost a minute before it's ridiculous 90 second lifespan was due to end and kills my level 25 wolf about 2 seconds after I respawn at my bed. I've asked this question before. Please answer me. Why the fuck should I continue? I don't actually enjoy bashing my scrotum with a hammer for hours on end and that's what this game is feeling like right now. You shouldn't have released this with so many major bugs a few days before 3/4 of the world, presumably including all your developers, want to go on holidays for two weeks. Seriously. I'm wondering if this is some kind of massive troll.

I will admit, i love the atmosphere of the game i'm running on high with an RX 570 8gb and very nice. the game actually runs better then ark for me. 2) The world is large and takes a while to get from place to place which is pretty nice. seeing random boats off in the distance gives a sense of danger. which is interesting 3) The skill tree's are awesome, very RPG like very well done, could use some refining and more info on the skills. 4) claiming of land: ... it's ok people are mass claiming which kinda sucks feels like it's kinda ruining my experience but i expected this from the arkish community. 5) stealing of ships: well.. seriously just break the bed and all your work is gone, kinda sucky and makes me want to play pve. 6) Mob Spawns: OH MY GOD why is everything aggressive, i can't even build a base on the land i claimed because as soon as i leave my small shelter, wolf wolf crock wolf snake snake snake snake snake x1000, and don't forget the VULTURES EVERYWHERE when i finally manage to kill something. did i mention wolves? i want this game to be great, i come from a long line of mmo's games, i play eve and i played star wars galaxies. i was hoping this would be my next SWG which it can still be in a good way but alot of things need to be addressed.

  5. So, I'm one of the lucky few that managed to get out of the starter Islands and settle on a lag free zone. Dealing with predator animals wasn't horrible yesterday, but after the last patch it's been almost impossible. Here are the issues I've been having: NOTE: Animal damage is dramatically higher in other islands than the starter island, take that into account before replying. 1- Player Damage - I'm guessing there was some type of balancing done to prevent people from murdering each other in PvP too easily, but that also affected PvE badly. Mob health is still too high in comparison to how much damage a player can do. It's still doable to kill them, but due to the insane spawn rates, and the fact that they spawn very close to your claims, it's very hard to manage to kill all of the ones attacking your base, while gathering resources to repair your weapons. We've had constant shortages of resources. 2- Mob spawn region/rate - While I understand that spawn rates need to be moderately high due to being an MMO server, there should at least be a reduced spawn rate near people's bases, or at least something like a reduced spawn radius. Or just lower mob health / return the old PvE damage. 3- Knockback - The mob knockback is way too strong. Why does a wolf push me super far away? Like... It's punching me into oblivion. Several melee hits are constantly being missed due to being pushed a mile away at every chomp. 4- Awkward alliances - This is just a personal gripe, but I hate it whenever I'm watching a wolf have a fight with two snakes and a lion to suddenly make peace and charge straight at me to destroy me. Recommendation: I don't recommend lowering animal damage, as once you have armor on it's not horrible. But I do feel that player damage against animals or over-all animal health needs to be reduced. That way it's at least somewhat balanced. Or restore old player damage and increase player health. And for the love of God, I can understand an elephant kicking me a mile away, but a wolf should not kick me away as far as an elephant. >_> That's been making it super hard to progress as a small group, but otherwise the game is pretty solid now that I don't have to deal with all the lag. <3

    Latest Patch (v404.5)

    Ahoy Pathfinders! We’ll be releasing the latest game update later today around 14:00 PST/22:00 UTC. This update includes the aforementioned level cap reduction from 150 to 120. We previously announced that we’d be forcing a skill respec for all players with this change, but we will now only be forcing a respec for players who are currently past level 120. We’re hard at work on the next update and as a reminder, 2x XP and harvesting rates are still enabled on our Official Network and will continue to stay boosted for the time being. Latest Patch Notes (v404.5) Reduced max player character level cap from 150 to 120. Forced a skill respec for all players past level 120. Offline player character bodies on ships will now stay visible to other players on PvE servers and in freeports. Fixed a bug where offline player characters would fall off ships when transitioning into a freeport grid. Fixed a bug where holding a treasure map on Blackwood would crash the game. Players can now purchase a one time use “Rename Ship Item” from the Cosmetics Vendor for 10k and use it to rename their ship. The Equilibrium buff now properly shows the Stamina Recovery Rate in the Buff Stat Bonuses section of the character screen. Experience points from defeating the Kraken and Snowman have been significantly increased: 40,000 exp for normal mode. 120,000 exp for hard mode. Increased the spawn rate of high tier Ship of the Damned galleons. Increased the damage of certain mount creatures toward players by 30%. Effected creatures include Sheep, Bear, Bull, Horse, Ostrich, Pig, Wolf, Elephant, Giant Crab, Giant Tortugar, Giraffe, Lion, Olfend, Rhino, Tiger. Increased the attack range of certain mount creatures by 10%. Effected creatures include Sheep, Bear, Bull, Horse, Ostrich, Pig, Wolf, Elephant, Giant Crab, Giant Tortugar, Giraffe, Lion, Olfend, Rhino, Tiger. Changed torpedo crafting cost to 28 metal ingots, 60 gunpowder, 40 blasting powder, and 100 mythos. Torpedos are now fireable by NPCs from the helm/Lieutenant’s Podium (so long as that player has Torpedo Studies unlocked). Reduced the travel time required before torpedo damage becomes active from 3.75 seconds to 2 seconds. Increased grenade damage vs. puckles and swivels by 100%. Increased grenade damage vs. structures by 170%. Reduced max handling sail acceleration stat cap to 125%. Fixed certain edge cases where cannon carts could be fired while in water. Kraken, Snowman, and monstrous whale encounters now have a chance to drop items. All loot tables now have a chance to drop an already-crafted version of an item rather than just the blueprint. Increased the attack range of certain mount creatures by 10%. Effected creatures include Sheep, Bear, Bull, Horse, Ostrich, Pig, Wolf, Elephant, Giant Crab, Giant Tortugar, Giraffe, Lion, Olfend, Rhino, Tiger. Changed torpedo crafting cost to 28 metal ingots, 60 gunpowder, 40 blasting powder, and 100 mythos. Torpedos are now fireable by NPCs from the helm/Lieutenant’s Podium (so long as that player has Torpedo Studies unlocked). Reduced the travel time required before torpedo damage becomes active from 3.75 seconds to 2 seconds. Increased grenade damage vs. puckles and swivels by 100%. Increased grenade damage vs. structures by 170%. Reduced max handling sail acceleration stat cap to 125%. Fixed certain edge cases where cannon carts could be fired while in water. Kraken, Snowman, and monstrous whale encounters now have a chance to drop items. All loot tables now have a chance to drop an already-crafted version of an item rather than just the blueprint.   8. So is there any plans on addressing this ? I kind of feel like I'm explaining the birds and the bees to my 6 year old here but here goes. Animals mate when the female is in heat, yup it's really that simple, sure they need to be in their desired Biome but it has nothing to do with temperatures. The Daddy wolf smells the Mommy wolf and they do the deed. They do not set candles and campfires or blankets, it's not a romantic night out on the town that requires the perfect settings. You guys seem hell bent on making this game "realistic" (because hydras are a thing) so stop over thinking things that make the game less desirable (see what I did there). Get rid of the stupidity of temperature gaps fro mating because they are not "realistic" and do not work a large percentage of the time. You want us to use more defined temperatures for raising young then fine but even that is so far off the deep end its not even close to realistic. Summary, there is such a thing as going overboard (again see what I did there) Mating should have the temperature restrictions taken out of them game, games are suppose to be fun, traveling for hours to get your pets to do the dirty is not fun, pushing E or Y to light numerous fires (that they would clearly run away from in real life) is not fun. Stop over complicating the simplest of features, and literally punch the person in the face that works there and thought this would be a good idea. Disclaimer; I'm aware its been posted before but, they clearly aren't listening because here we are with the same BS mechanics.

  11. I used to be a big fan of this server. The players in the server are active,are nice and helpful, and the admin are pretty awesome. That said, the owner of the server is upsetting a lot of people lately. As of recent, players feel they don't have a voice in the server. The owner isn't afraid to make big and drastic game changing updates mid season. Mid season last season, the owner decided to take away advanced automation. A lot of people were okay with the this however he only gave players three 2-3 during the business day to prepare for this before removing the structures from the game. A lot of gold and resources were lost. What really upset most of the players was the attitude of the server owner after the structures were removed. He was telling players "This is my server. I'm going to run it the way I want to. If you don't like it, there are other servers." That day, several top donors to the server left. Soon after, ATLAS announced the Trade Wind update. The server owner did the right thing asking if we wanted to do a wipe for it or not. The players voted to do a wipe after the update. After the wipe, players spent a lot of money to get tames by purchasing donor packages and points. Some people even spent $99 on donor packages for this. When people started buying and breeding tigers, they started to notice that the stats when leveled into wasn't as good as last season. When someone posted this in the bugs section on the server Discord, the server owner was like, "We reduced the stats of tames by 80% for this season". This update was not announced, and no players knew about this. Only the admin and server owner knew about this. Some people mentioned that if they would've know about this, that they wouldn't have bought the donor pack they did. The same tiger that could once do alpha giraffes solo now gets hits three times before dieing because of this unknown update. You are literally spending $30 in server points for something that can't even kill even an AB loot wolf. The server used to not always be like this. It was fun and amazing with great people. Save yourself the heartache and being told "This is my server, I'm going to run it the way I want to" bs.
  12. (Official pve) Unless they do something with h11 monopoly on twigs, I sure as hell would rather use a giraffe to collect them than by hand. Or you can buy them at 250g per 1000 from lotus and mess around with setting that up. Maybe you can fill me in on a way to trade with them via market trade. Or "renting" one of their farms. On 5x harvesting I friggin load up! Point being there is a time and a place for tames. There is an economy based on tames and breeding. I've interacted with more people due to tames than any other element in the game. Taking that away is taking a pillar of the game out. This game is huge and has depth. There is so many things to figure out and utilize in this game. To be short sighted and want to only sail around and shoot things from your ship seems elementary to me. Don't get me wrong, it's a pay off from hard work but to have the best stuff to do that with, you need to utilize the tools provided in the game and tames being one of them. How quickly can you get to the ocean floor on the back of a crab? Almost instantly. If you're freezing, jump on a wolf. If your over heating, jump on an ostrich. Instead of beating on rocks like a cave man, do it in style with a rhino. Gathering and moving materials without tames just makes the game more simple and more of a tedious grind. Tames bring a whole other large element to the game. Why wouldn't you want them in the game? Its more enjoyable collecting materials imo than fn around with that damn market. I have 10 collecting and trading and funneling materials to a central base and I spend more time turning on farms and traveling to them so they don't decay and messing with trades than just playing the game. I'm losing more and more interest in the game messing with them because it has turned into a job. Tames are fun and useful. Bottom line. More so than these dumb pre-made ships. Leave the tames, lose the pre-made ships imo!

Here was how to find the codes Clues : 1) At midnight, the pack attack. 2) No matter heat, through the seas, songs and whales I fly. 3) My eyes bright at night, my only weakness is my energy, when the empty point is reach, I perish. 4) The smarter I am, the more you love me. Every stage I pass, the smarter I become. I achieved a stage where I know the answer to life, univers and everything. 1) pack was for Wolf, midnight for 24h You had to put 24 points into attack stats in the wolf page. 2) heat was for Parrot, Sea - Songs and Whales for the different bonus, you had to put something else than none/no into them at the parrot page. 3) eyes bright at night, my only weakness is my energy was for the razortooth, when the empty point is reach, I perish you needed to put 0 in the input for stamina, in the razortooth page. 4) The smarter I am, the more you love me was for the crow. Every stage I pass, the smarter I become was refering for his levels. I achieved a stage where I know the answer to life, ... refer to the level he has answer to life, univers and everything refer to 42, from the famous book The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You had to put 42 level in the page of the crow. You can still try theses, it may helps for the next mini-game
  14. g4 glendale hardly any aggressive wildlife full of mainly giraffes , rhinos ostridge and turtles .Snakes, wolfs ,scorpions few and far between , almost every wolf ive seen is dead killed by giraffes and usally only a low lvl wolf , g5 top left small island full of birds no land animals at all this was at 8pm uk time last night , second island more birds than land animals possibly due to being a bigger island and not all land wildlife had been killed for meat / leather / etc ..this morning ran around the entire island ,1 elephant , 2 rhinos and an ostridge , tons of birds flying about .. i have noticed a larger than pre wipe amount of birds flying about , is this part of the problem , the flying wild life spawn are filling up where land based should be ? just an observation , from pre wipe to this patch .some islands may have more as the aggressive spawns are possibly more native to them and set up that way , but certainly the region im in and surrounding grids dont have anything much to be a worry when out farming . which is a massive and i mean massive difference from the early days when i had to be watchful when out farming as wolfs / scorpions , cobras were a plenty , now its just a snooze fest when out and about , and before all the usual player turn up with their couple of screenshots of huge amounts of aggressive spawn , we all have those ,silly amounts from the early days that just clumped up in areas , this isnt about that its about the recent changes to spawns has definatly broken something, tldr: far more birds seem to be spawning even getting 2+ every few hours inside my ships, not many ground based animals compared to pre nerf .
  15. Well as an official PVP solo player this means for me RIP Atlas. If you read between the lines they plan to implement the trash exploiter claim tower system to everywhere, not just lawless. I will certainly not build something up for months again, just to lose it to some LOL troll naked noob with a claim tower in 45 minutes again. No, i as a lone wolf do NOT want to be just „a wheel“ in some mega companys machine as you discribe it. What you are planning is just a slavery systems to benefit the megatribes. Good luck, if you think that over i may come back. But certainly not while your offline raid system : „take anything from anybody in 45 minutes“ trash stays implemented

  18. I can't believe this game is not dead on arrival after all the bs players go through on a day to day basis ingame. So the server crashed, I finally log back on and what do I see? My brigantine, something I built just YESTERDAY is missing 4 planks and sinking. Over 10 hours put into that brig, and it sinks because of this... My guess is I must of hit shallows or stray rocks before the crash? Because when my ship finally sunk I saw rocks hidden beneath the crashing waves virtually impossible to see. This is absolutely rediculus. Over 10 hours....And just like that its gone. What a complete waste of my weekend.....And its not just this. The other day I had a pet wolf onboard my schooner. Omw back to base I got shot at by some sotd. My wolf decided to leap into the water. It died to a LEVEL 2 MANTA RAY(LOLOLOLOL) before I could find it. This game is extremely punishing in the most TECHNICAL ways. Its not hard because its difficult. Its hard because its broken and not fleshed out in any way. Instead of working on core game design that is virtually killing the game, they add a submarine that no one will get unless they kill the kraken. I can't do it anymore. Just like everyone else I waited for this stupid "mega patch" to be released and nothing has changed. All the technical bs that players experienced are still being experienced. I submitted a ticket, but I seriously doubt grapeshot will ressurect my brigantine from the depths... My girlfriend wanted to leave state and go to miami this weekend cause of 3 day weekend. But I decided to stay home and play atlas. Finally finished making a brig FOR THE FIRST TIME...And this happens....All that time and work....Complete waste of time....I'm going to get my brig back, or I'm done playing this game. The anger it causes, the punishing aspects of it, its all not worth the time and money for it. Back when I was just a brat was the last time I ever let a game upset me this much. Its childish and I cant believe I let this game bring that side of me out. I should of quit a long time ago. But I gave grapeshot the benefit of the doubt in hopes they would improve the gaming experience.... I suggest you postpone on content updates like a stupid submarine no one wants, an under sea civilation and cosmetics. Work on your core game design. Technical aspects like unseeable shallows, buggy pets, clunky combat and that garbage vitamin system literally noone likes or thinks is a good idea.

  20. Having the same issue. Was attacking a bear with a wolf and the health was not updating. The wolf died... Also started harvesting with a bear and as the bear's weight increased it began rubber-banding as my client wanted to run faster than the server wanted to let me.
  21. Chicken - let eggs be more valuable. Make them more drastically increase Vitamin A. Sheep - let them drop Mutton and let that act like the eggs described above. Also, let their hide give a boost to cold weather gear, including a buff against wetness effect on cold. This is how wool acts in real life. Wool, in fact has the unique ability to keep you warm even when it's wet. Horse - Give slight increase to speed. This should be the Meta fighting scout Give armored saddles, and weapons that are easy to use when fighting from the back of this mount. Give a heavy armored saddle that cuts the speed to slightly under the current speed. Add a lance that you can use from the back of this heavy mount, but also add in a collision/trampling damage when this horse crashes into an enemy infantry. Pig - Allow its poop to act like fertilizer. Allow it to stack a bit, and not decay so fast. What else would we use it for? Everything gives meat, so its main purpose in real life is diminished. Bull - allow the horns to penetrate armor better, and do more damage. Maybe also stun an enemy so that they fall to the ground, bleeding. It should do more than just put blood in front of your eyes. This should also be the meta for towing a cannon. Create something like a combine for it to tow over growing food. Doing so drastically increases food production. Bull should be meta food gatherer with this. Cow - pretty good as it is, since milk gives medicinal effect. Maybe increase that slightly. Maybe change the meat of both the cow and bull to also have a small medicinal effect since beef is the safest meat to eat. Maybe allow their meat to be eaten raw. Allow it to also drop some prime meat. Fish - allow their meat to be eaten raw. Sushi anyone? Make all raw fish meat and beef give more health but this is offset as it decays faster than cooked meat. Rhino - Should be the Meta battering ram to knock down gates. Allow for an armored saddle for the rider. Rider can't shoot or fight from the back if using that saddle. Elephant - platform saddle with siege engine...catapult, Ballista, etc.. This should be the Meta Fighter, not the bear. It should have much higher weight, health, and melee than current. Stamina is OK, but the run speed should be increased some. They aren't actually that slow in real life. Giraffe - Without getting to ARK'd up, hard to say on this one. Maybe add a rope ladder that allows the rider to climb up to the top of the head for sniping and scouting, and mining things too high for you to reach? Maybe allow the rider to stand on the saddle? Lion - Allow pack buff. I like that it pulls riders off the mount, but instead of the silly looking current version, let it pin the person on the ground. Remove the superman jump ability, but buff health and melee. Wolf - Give pack buff. Wolves, dogs in general have excellent hearing, so they should make excellent fighting scouts. Maybe give them a similar ability to what the Troodon had? Maybe give them the realistic role of sentry. They sense the nearby presence of the enemy? Tiger - No pack bonus like the Lion, but should have sneak ability vs other animals. Should counter the wolf enemy sense, but not be immune to it. Only have this while being quite...walking slowly. Running cancels the sneak buff. Bear - Should be Meta fish and honey gatherer. Should attack you if you get too close. ARK had that right. Should keep you warm when riding them in Tundra and Polar areas. Parrot - increase the cooling buff. Use for keeping babies cool. Penguin - increase heating buff. Use for keeping babies warm. Monkey - no change Raven - no change Vulture - Allow it to see the quality of nearby animals. In other words, it can tell the difference between the Alphas and the Omegas, the strong and the weak. Seagull - Act as a sort of radar at sea? Rabbit - add a "lucky" buff to items crafted. Make this 4 decimal places, and use in anti-cheat to detect duped items. No item should have the same stats, and lucky buff. Can also have this same luck buff when tarot is added.

  23. This is a message to the Devs team and everyone working behind.. "Thank you! For Creating This Game!". I've seen so many Bugs and Stuffs disappearing.. And my ship flipped out on the ocean when there is nothing and sunk as all.. The harshness of Taming a creature and some unfinished stuffs and things in the game. But this thread is not about that. I really want to focus on the good things in this game that I think are missed out by some of us. It's not all that Shiny and Sunshine for me as well.. My experience with ATLAS.. is full of mixed stuffs.. Positive and Negative.. and I know the Negative do indeed outweight the Positive things like so many people already wrote down on many threads. But here I am.. Wanting to put down the amazing and positive stuffs that the Dev team actually did.. that maybe some of us missed and couldn't really see it beyond all the bugginess of the game and such.. FYI I'm not someone who are trying to defend the game or so.. But someone who truly appreciate something amazing and are happy to share it with the person that did that amazing thing. I'm going to list the stuffs that I find it amazing and truly enjoy in this game: 1. The Ecosystem I am honestly amazed by this.. although I do know that some island have a crazy species like a chicken in Tundra biome or a Cobra in Tundra as well.. But the moment where me and my friends was trying to find a wolf.. we are met by an amazing fight between a Lion and a Bear .. which is made us took out our spyglass and watching it from afar.. The fight was pretty intense and soon one of my friend joined the fight too which cracked us up with laughter. It is one of the memorable things that we have here in ATLAS. 2. The Sail Collision with the Crow's Nest and Grappling Hook Physics This is honestly can be one of the overlooked details which is amazing. The sail is actually colliding with the Crow's nest on the mast (Although I know some physics and collision doesn't really work well at all like how the ramming ship aren't able to register their damage properly) But looking past on that.. it is still an amazing feature.. not to mention the Grappling Hook!.. I am honestly surprised that such things like this exist in this game because how hard it is to implement something like this.. But guys.. it works!.. I really like how we swing around with the rope although the collision doesn't register with the rope.. but hey!.. Honestly.. not many games can implement something like this.. even more in a SandBox game like ATLAS. 3. The Animal's Animation I got to say our animation as a human is even more stiffy than the animals which honestly irks me but I just laughed at that because of how amazing they animate the creature and the animals. The Giraffe shaking his ears. The Ostritch head that looks around like how birds should move their head. I really appreciated that details that they put in here. 4. The Physics of the Ship While it might not be as best as Sea of Thieves.. I can really say it can still considered amazing.. The way the ship tumbles around on high waves and how the sail really looks like flapping towards the wind! (This is one of the best details in the game) looks awesome. I love that! 5. The Tornado I wouldn't say I enjoy the times that almost 5 to 10 Tornadoes spawned just near my ship alone to wreck me up (I think there should be something be done about this) But hey.. The way the Tornado Spawn and spinning around?... I'll give it 10 out of 10 for ratings. They totally nailed it with the Visual. 6. The Islands and Environment I believe there is not a lot that I can say in here.. But wow... The islands that we visited.. Every island that me and my friends visited.. is gorgeous.. there is even this Island that have a waterfall and a lake in the middle which.. just made us looks like a kid going to the zoo for the very first time with our eyes shining with awe. Final words I believe I can list more of the amazing stuffs that I myself find it amazing.. That this game.. ATLAS have.. and others don't.. But I know how notorious the game is for almost never fixing a bug that have been there for a long time and also neglecting the communities. I don't have a high hope, but one thing for sure.. I really want to let this positive things that I found in the game go out in here. ATLAS Dev team.. I can say you still can turn this around.. and Improve the game.. You have lots of things that no other games have.. Not even the famous "Other pirate games" have. You have the Animals Taming, The Treasure Hunt, The Ship, The Quest, The Ship of the Damned, Exploration, Many many amazing Islands and the resources in each of them. You have the things already.. What you need is to Improve them. I like how this game have so many random stuffs to do even though it's buggy. I believe if it's money that you need.. Release a ship skin.. Or an exclusive figure heads.. or Costume.. I believe it's not just me that have writing that solution here. Although I do have little hope that this thread might be read by the Dev team. But if you're reading this. You guys can do it.
  24. The game is 100% failing for me, and I for one am not surprised at the numbers having plummeted. 3 weeks ago I got fed up of the following experience.... I log on, and intend to do a little farming on the island opposite me which is a few seconds swim away on my bear. I reach the other island easy, start farming, then nothing responds.... 30 seconds later server crashes. I spend what feels like an eternity waiting for it to come back up praying that it didn't happen when my bear was swimming. It eventually comes up to find it rolled back to the point I had logged on, so anything I did was wasted. I then went back over to the island to farm..... ypu you guessed it, server crashed again. Once the server came back up again and find myself safe in my base because it rolled back to the same point, I logged off and went off to do something that is actually fun and enjoyable and works..... watched Netflix. After that experience and the fact my interest has dropped significantly anyway, I decided not to play for a week, only log on twice to reset timers. After a week away from the game I decide to spend a little play time... I log on, jump on bear, swim over to island, start farming some fiber and berries.... 30 seconds later nothing responds, yup you guessed it, server crashed. Another antagonising wait to find out if my bear is ok, yup it's fine because rollback was to before I logged on. Jump back on bear, go over to island, farm again.... yup crashed again. Logged back on, jump on bear, reach island, farm stuff, ok so far. Swim over to another nearby island that I have claimed, kill a wolf, use bear to harvest said wolf, no response.... you server crashed. Ok so server returns, find out everything I did was wasted because it rolled back to before I logged on. This time I take a 2 week break from the game, save logging every 3 days to reset timers. Today, Sunday afternoon, lets spend a little time to try and get back in to the game. I log on, create a bookshelf as it is new, place it down. Check trough, needs berries. Grab my gear, jump on bear, swim over to island. The moment i'm about to farm with the bear nothing responds.... YES GOD DAMMIT THE SERVER CRASHED. After another antagonising wait I log back on to find it rolled back to before I logged on. So I said sod it, don't care if the trough is empty, don't care if the tames die it will probably keep rolling back to before death anyway! I never got the fuss with ARK official servers, but now i've experienced Official gameplay on Atlas, well I wish I never even bothered.
