Is that anything like trolling the forums?

Although i wouldn’t think it matters, I’ve found that letting my computer go to sleep when I’m away causes atlas to crash like crazy. If I set it so that it never sleeps the game rarely crashes.

Is there a limit for recruiting NPC sailors ?

You can only have 10 at level 1. Spend the xp points on the ones you have and you should be able to buy more.
