  1. Yea, we sail our gally with 2 handling sails and we barely escape without taking a beating. We're sailing with 2 of us, are we're always very aware of what's ahead of us. We turn the second they render in, and still get hammered with cannon fire. It's a case of luck, not skill
  2. The new features for: Claim flags feeding crew and paying gold to crew. Crew Resources Silo. Are unavailable on our server because our claim flags work differently to official servers. Is there any setting that can be changed on the server to make these features available?
  3. Best reviews ever... "so I've been playing Atlas now for 5000 hours and somehow I'm such a total blindsighted moron that I'm unable to realise that 5000 hours on a game counts for it being good, so, because I'm such a negative, hateful, little loner, I'm gonna trash talk all the points of this game that I find annoying because I'm incapable of seeing past that, and realising why I actually played this game for 5000 hours. "
  4. I like the vitamins mechanic, now that we have better cooking and foods to manage it with, I dont have any complaints... But between starting and reaching that stage, we relied on killing ourselves to manage our vitamins. I don't think they should remove it, but it does need to be more manageable for players without the tier 3 recipes. For us we just keep a bag loaded with fish n chips and pork pies. This keeps our vitamins balanced and we don't kill ourselves anymore
  5. Our server admin has this issue, sinking ships for housekeeping tasks leaves his map littered with shipwrecks.
  6. Only happens when there is a box on the back of the cargo saddle. We noticed that when we set sail, shortly afterwards, our bears would start "hovering" on the deck of the ship. If we mounted the bear, we would be "teleported" back to where the bear was when it started happening. Depending on how fat we'd sailed, this could be miles out of render distance, across the map. Now we make sure we remove the boxes from our cargo saddles before setting off
  7. Can we have different profiles for our skill points? It's pretty tedious having to reselect all your skills everytime you reset. Most of the time, we don't craft our new blueprints just for that reason.... We tend to wait until we have a large collection that need crafting before we can be bothered resetting our skills (again...) I've no gripe with how the skills and levels work, it's a much cleaner setup than Ark, but being able to save skill point profiles would make the process less annoying.
  8. Happens most frequently when ceilings are placed 3 lengths away from their original support and don't have any foundations sitting beneath them (just ceilings and mesh/terrain below) I started just building 2 ceilings away from my support/foundations, and whilst it's still a problem, it's not as frequent. It does seem like anything that is 3 lengths away from its support will most certainly disappear at some point. I think the most important thing to note here, is that it only happens when you're building. If you're adding or removing structures (for me it's just foundations) then ceilings which aren't in your view, can start disappearing. It does always appear to be ceilings that you're not looking at, I've never had ceilings disappear before my eyes, only when I turn around after building, do I see that ceilings have disappeared. Also worth noting is that I believe it effects cliff platforms too. Someone from another tribe reported a quarter of his walls supported on the edge of a cliff platform had just vanished.
  9. Several people on our server have reported this. It doesn't cause their game to crash, but it does freeze up prior to the message being displayed, but goes back to normal once they click OK

We have this on our unofficial server. Says it must be placed on Island Edit: claim flags don't have the option to allow paying or feeding crew either.... I'm assuming our flags are configured differently to official servers.
  11. Can we have lanterns changed so that they don't need removing from their wall hooks to be repaired? Would be alot better if we could just walk up to the hook with oil in our inventories and press E to repair... Like we would if we were repairing any structure on our ships. I assumed that this was how they were repaired, until our 200ish lanterns all needed repairing. We've taken all the lanterns down and replaced them with RP Decor lights. It's a shame because the Atlas lanterns are much prettier and give off a cool glow at night time. I hope repairing them can be less tedious in future. Lighting a large base with these is currently impractical. Doesn't make sense that I need a smithy to add oil to a lantern does it? I don't call the gas company everytime my zippo runs out of fuel lol
  12. The 3 vehicles that are typically only obtainable through cheats, are unspawnable in my single player game. I've checked the location where the files should be held for these cheats but i believe the necessary files are missing. I also installed the Extended Vehicles Mod v3 (Stackable) mod, which added the vehicles to my smithy as it said it would, but when crafting any of them, nothing happens. It consumes my materials for crafting but doesn't produce the vehicles specified. other people in our community are reporting the same problem. Have these files been removed from the game?
  13. You need to log out and back in, for the new paint to appear
  14. Following this, it looks like, after leaving it a few hours or maybe restarting the game, the paint appeared? I will test further
  15. Pretty self explanatory. Stacked foundations often look ugly when the outer edge is visible. The pretty decoration doesn't always go where you want it and they generally look a bit mix and match. It would be cool if we could set their models to either look like normal walls, normal foundations, or the decorative foundations normally located at the bottom of the foundation stack.
  16. I've been playing around with the pnt files and painting sails which I've done extensively on Ark before and understand exactly how it works... Templates, colour conversion etc. I've tried it with arkpnt and 8bit pineapple (both using the atlas version/settings) Yesterday, the paint only applied to the middle sail of my large speed sails. I used the exact same template, and made one for someone on my server, he got all 3 sails but it was white where it should have been black Today I tried again, and the paint wasnt visible on any of the sails. Whilst I was in the painting window I could see the paint applied to the sails, but when lowering the sails and actual looking at them, they were unchanged. The paint itself was black and red, and certainly wouldn't be faded or difficult to see. I tested with transparent and none transparent png files.
  17. Hello, Just a short simple suggestion. Instead of having a flat hard cap on ships structure limit, instead make it a limit that can be levelled and increased. There can be a balance in how many structures each level actually allows, taking in to account the loss of levels in other areas. Being told you've reach the limit, stop building, all your plans stop here... Is a very disappointing feeling. Put in a feature like this, that allows people to go a little bit further, without being excessive and ridiculous. It would also encourage a greater variety in ship designs, as people compromise in damage levels or resistance, in exchange for structures
