So your solution is to prevent building on lawless? The problem with posts like this is they complain without proposing a solution. On PvE lawless, this happens, same thing happened in PvE Ark, PvE Conan, etc, any game where you could place foundations to grief.

On PvP lawless though you can just destroy it and place your own.

You needed to put PVE in your title, I assume thats what you are on so you cant destroy foundations like that.

Yeah, i think when they introduce breeding there needs to be NPC Brothels in freeports where you can have a bastard, otherwise any female character, whether really female or not, is gonna get harassed (and introduce rape issues)

Yeah, noone is forcing you to farm where taxes are set. 20% is 1 in 5, you gather 5 of something, they take 1, deal with it or move on.

Plus you dont have to do fountain runs, you can wait for breeding coming soon and just take over your child.

You want them to not make a game? Umm, noone is forcing you to play this while its in development. Maybe this isnt the process for you.

Just saying The game came out with a posted 24 month development cycle before its ready for release. The first part of the aging system goes in, without the other part (breeding) and suddenly the game is doomed and it sucks and isnt worth playing. Lots of folks need to realize that during development some systems will be implemented in increments, other systems will be put in and then balanced (nerfed or buffed). If you just hate having to play with unfinished systems, dont play for now. its that simple. They have 22 more months of this. (and we know that might slip)

You know that the fountain isnt the only way, breeding is coming too, and you can take over your child. Its EA, yes, and thats a valid answer to this. If you dont want to experience the changes and the systems being implemented incrementally, wait for release in 22 months.

Umm, OP, maybe dont compare a game mechanic with a deadly disease. Pretty sure no matter how bad it is, you can just play another game. Making such a comparison just belittles those who suffer through it.

Naa, they have NPC shops coming to freeports, thats goign to be bad enough But I get letting scam trades happen, cause then you can kill the person who scammed you But all the freeport shops will do is let people store things safely, heh.

This seems like a no brainer for a MMO built around sailing ships. We need the ability to just unclaim a ship and it become owned by whoever claims it next, including all parts on board. Shipyards building to order should be a thing.

Yeah, breeding feels like a large guild thing only, where you can do it in shifts. And i dont think it produces Uber pets like in ark (which is good imho) Ark sadly turned into a game that went to whoever had the most time to breed uber dinos.

So bears are even more the #1 pet, heh. I tamed a level 2 on a new server and it does everything for me, fast mount, huge carry weight, kills lions/tigers/cobras. Love my bear.

Anyone test this patch note? What was the amount of increase? Im sure it didnt counter the elephants wood reduction, but we know why that happened, people would take elephants on ships loaded with wood and be able to repair long past when they should be. But im curious what "increased" means?

So you are sure thats exactly when the account logged in? Cause the clips from the first whale spawning happened around 5:30am EST

5 hours doesnt cut it, this happened at least 6-7 hours ago, and thats just what the streamers caught.

The fact that the airplane and tank are in the spawn list is ok, they have been spawnable on private servers for a while now, like 3 weeks ago, its to illustrate what you will be able to do with the dev kit. The fact that someone in game was able to spawn them in, spawn in whales to disrupt an attack on their ship, and some of the other accusations listed (that I havent seen) thats just sad. How a normal player has access to an admin command is beyond me, i dont really need to know the details (assuming it wasnt a normal phishing attack for passwords or something). But we 100% need a response from Grapeshot and devs about how it happened, what is being done to correct it, and what penalty the abusers received.

I get that this isnt game ending, but a better solution would have seemed to be not to let people move while overweight, and rather than sinking overweight ships, dont let them move.

So Im not in the Late Shift, and I don't play on official PvP anymore, but I enjoy watching them play on it, but now they are going to leave official after this mornings Whale incident. (They were attacking a foreign galleon with a group of ships and suddenly 6 whales spawned all at once facing the foreign galleon). Some folks will say good riddance, etc, but losing such a popular group of streamers, whom the CM has featured in his twitch stream and official forum announcements, does nothing good for the game. I think they are still going to play on an unofficial RP server, but it does nothing to support the MMO if they leave it due to hacks. And while I get that it takes time to fix some exploits, banning someone who abuses them does not, especially when it is a blatant exploit that requires no investigation, just watching a 30 sec twitch stream And while you may be banning folks left and right, we don't know that you are, and that creates the PERCEPTION that you are doing nothing about cheaters/exploiters save the few fixes in the patch notes, but no punishments announced. We dont even need names (though that would be nice), but we do need to know that cheating/hacking reports are resulting in bans.

800 and you are complaining? sheesh. Maybe, just maybe, you need to split your company into smaller companies all under one alliance, then you could have more if you must.

With the weight increase on ships weight sails are used more for putting lots of large cannons topside more than anything else.

ANd of course you cant show off your ship to strangers Cant offer strangers rides if you want. So much this breaks. (All assuming ship at anchor)
