I bought 4 copies on launch day for my family because I knew what a chaotic mess this would be. Anyone can see the way PC games have been released lately with the ‘patch it and fix it later’ attitude and early access is getting earlier and earlier. That being said, after gaming for 40 years, this has been one of my top ten experiences. I am one of the people who enjoy the process more than the end result. The fact that the game isn’t finished and is constantly changing makes it fun, to me and my group. We have played more since the wipe announcement than before because we love the uncertainty and decay. I realize I’m in the minority but all games end eventually and playing for the moment and enjoying the experience is really the only thing that matters. There is nothing to win except that.

Woot! We got Rejuvenated 3! +20%x6 I’m a god of a dying world. Bring me your bears and I will heal them. Send me elephants, I will restore their memories. Give me pigs, I will feed them to the cats. Looking forward to starting over because I’m way too excited when I see another person sail past. I’m like, “Holy cats! Another coat! I mean boat!”. See look, I’m even rambling here.

I would like to personally welcome all EU refugees to NA PVE. Your care packet will include an island filled with abandoned structures and starving unclaimed animals. I will deliver you a bear if you need one because I have hundreds to give away. Please enjoy your stay for the next week or so until you get wiped again.

So If I am reading the post title right, by the time the game cycle is finished I will have given the princess a new name, scared my aggressors into a dumpster and flown off on a Luck Dragon. Sounds good!

It’s sort of like going to your friends house for a complicated large board game. As it gets later they say that have to go to work the next day so they won’t be able to play until morning to finish the game. You keep looking at the clock wondering when they’ll say, “let’s pack it up.” You know it’s going to end soon but you keep playing anyway.

I plan on surviving the wipe by hiding in the attic. Our company hasn’t stopped playing and we will be right back at it in NA L9. If they just wait 4 more days, we are going for rejuvenation level three. I will be sad to see our hundreds (on wandering) of reclaimed animals go but feeding them is ridiculous.

I’m sailing right now so I have time to chat. Can’t it be both? By the way, if NA PVE is a Battle Royale, then I think I might be about to win
