well, on PVE, no islands to claim at all you force people to join tribes so they have a settlement only big islands left, nothing to claim because no points left, even for bigger tribes 15+ ppl on pvp you got megatribes in allys, i wonder why empires server even exists. so you can guess what will happen soon. it's broken, i want a wipe with old flag system but limit the flags, one flag per member, three for tribe, but noooo........ now we have this better you do a single player button. to save the numbers.

i had one small island and the settler made the upkeep from 122 to 140...

someone experiencing the same issue? my ships are just removed from the company on my island after 11 hours offline, island is still mine tho. and i have one settler.

i keep my 50 cents short but i want to know what you think: Islands: claiming (re-claiming) an island is too fast it took only 10 minutes to reclaim a claimed island. if you lose your flag you could re-claim it again after you got wiped from your island. you have to build up on laweless again (or a peaceful island) and capture/reclaim your island/flag in that timewindow while attacks are allowed. (at that moment the wartime is over, you are pretty much wiped from your island bc owner can attack everytime.) (find more ppl, make ally and attack back in a few days, weeks) that's how gameplay would look like and the only thing to stop ppl from claiming your island is to secure the flag radius hard 24/7. wich brings us to the... Flags: (facts) it is possible to move the claimflag, so no fixed location (first flag does not set location) on a big island pretty hard to find (press H you see red radius) on a island with freaking high rocks almost impossible to capture/claim if you have placed your flag up there (bc you have to place the flag near the other flag, on high rocks no space and cant rly climb up, cant built up if blocked by enemy floor, cant place cannons etc.) so we need a height lmitation on placing flags and a change in time for the claiming process (11 minutes now) because if you don't have time to defend why even play, 20-60 minutes at least that's my thought.

well, ppl were asking for a big gate but only half in height, and this is what we get...

yea if the radius of the flag is not hard secured you lose an island almost instantly, 10 minutes max. exactly my experience. and never go sleep even in peace time. takes out the fun somehow.

i am a gamer, i play games that are 25 years old, and i play games that are brandnew. so it is not the age that matters. it is the quality. so if they make it a good game chances are good that you play it again after years, and let's not forget it is Early Access. if you do not play now it's ok, bc it's not finished. maybe we have another wipe some day to make things even, in other words to balance the game. so new ppl can and will start. if it is better after that i'll take it.

in the next 12 to 24 hours it will be live i guess so let's see then. that timeframe would be pretty normal for WC, so why complain if you already know. it is always end/night of that set date or next day, it is never in the beginning/morning.
