    And why the hell are the devs not helping out here? You know the codes etc. as best... Would take 15min to write down a tutorial about and post a sample for dummies (like me in this case).

    Just a simple "how to for dummies" about raising the max lvl of tames, if you want to play on a difficult preset "1". But without extra fast leveling or super extra engram points o.e. just a simple Max lvl incrase. So u can breed a tame over lvl 100 and be able to lvl up after.

    Is it such a big thing? Please help me out here because otherwise it's no fun to play on a higher difficult level.

    It will cover the creature's EXP up to base level 120. So anything born at level 100 would be able to gain another 130 levels. If it was born at level 120, it'll be able to gain 150 levels. Anything above 120 (base) would need additional numbers input into the table.

    when arks forums were down they immediately announced it on twitter and gave updates on when it would be back up. This was another big fail for them. The lack of communication is just sad.

    i wonder how long that Q&A is going to be up before they actually answer some questions.

    Aye, we should have posted that the forums were offline. Typically if they go offline, it's because someone is attacking our network, usually both sites simultaneously (most particularly after banwaves 😛). I usually post these and post on both platforms that they're unavailable (ARK and ATLAS 😉) but I was away this weekend for family commitments so wasn't around to do so but have reminded the others they can and should too. You'll notice that Chris sent out a tweet that he was looking into both sites, but it was only RT'd from the ARK account 😅

    As for the Q&A, we'll be looking to answer those (in some form) during our livestream later this month.

    We'll have a stream at the end of the month which will give some more insight into our dev plans going forward, but yes a large update is expected and when we're ready to share more, you'll hear about it.

Unfortunately, it's not something we support at the moment, there are concerns with 'insiding', when company owners have knowingly taken a break and then players have colluded to seek ownership via the support system. However, we recognize it can lead to problems in the event that a company owner is required for action and we have discussed steps to alleviate this. It's possible in future this could occur via our support team, but preferably would happen through an in-game mechanism.

    to get ur id do showmyadminmanager click your name and then a command on the right, execute and copy your userid 

    1655 is veteran explorer. I can't find the questID for the cartographer. Hopefully one of u guys can find it!

    Could you elaborate? Would they be able to take a video of what happens when they try to access the structure? I assume they have the permissions to do so? (inventory rank, etc)

    Honestly, it depends on how much administration work you want to do. The admin commands could make this a quick and easy process (moving all the structures/ships/creatures back to their original owners) within minutes or hours depending on how many different people play the game. If it's just a small group, it may be worth just running the commands. If you've not done too much, you may find it easier to restart 🙂

    Mmm.. you could try using: cheat GiveAllDiscoZones but I am not sure if it'll work on that map.

  7. FYI Folks, update on the post above:

    We have managed to make already existing savefiles load with this change, however, you will be forced to create a new character and make a new company. Force-joining into the old company will not work. However, you can then reclaim all your structures, ships, and creatures again with the use of admin commands such as:

    - cheat takeallstructure

    This will transfer all the structures, boats, and claimflags of the previous company, to your own.

    - cheat takealldino

    This will transfer all the creatures of the previous company, to your own.

    - cheat giveallstructure

    This will transfer the structure you’re looking at, as well as anything snapped to it, to you.

    - cheat givetome

    This will transfer the individual object you’re looking at, to you (works with creatures too).

  9. We do have a fix for this coming up now for dedicated servers. Unfortunately, it'll require a critical change to the save system which means in order for it to work, previous save files will no longer function. Little bit more info is available here: 

    Sorry for any inconvenience and loss suffered folks 😞, the update will be deployed later today. It will not impact Single Player or Non Dedicated servers. 


  10. In theory, you could always create manual backups of your save folder. They can be found here, depending on the map you're using:

    Hm, it could be possible that this is the case, we'll need to investigate. Will look into it.

    As for the decay timers, they are set up to work like so:

    PvE - 14 days (Golden Age: 1 Day, Freeports: 3 days)

    PvP - 30 days (Golden Age: 1 Day, Freeports: 3 days)

    and then to keep the timer active, you have to physically stand on the boats.
