Hi, Equiring about Season 10 Discovery Points. This is what I know so far. Island Discoveries total 661 Powerstone Discoveries 40 each total 360 Kraken Discovery Kill is 150 Two whales and squid 30 each equals 90 Essence Discoveries are another 40 each equals 360 Are there discoveries for the Hard Mde Kraken and the Yeti? Am I wrong about the above? Thanks in advance.

What type of Thatch are you talking about? General thatch? Roots, reeds, fronds, etc.? I assume fronds as fronds are an equatorial and temperate material.

Did you try to communicate before making landfall? My exerience shows me, that PvP is entirely about de-escalation vs escalation. Both of these start with analyzing the consequences of one's companies actions. We find that if you are friendly enough, straight up about your intentions and do nothing considered suspicious, even the largest of mega companies will let you grab that map on their land or tame an elephant for 25 minutes. Some groups will even let you use their traps. And often you built a friend and ally. There will always be cases where you are shot on sight, but these seem to be rare, or our diplomat has some mad rolls (1D20 +10) lol PvP is almost entirely the metagame, the game we play as people interacting with other people outside the actual physical algorithmic mechanics. If you show your intentions are honourable, you can win friends fast, but if you dishonourable, you will be executed. Best of luck

I have no problem using OBS to stream to Twitch even on custom high settings 1920 x 1080. I am a new streamer, so I am just getting the ropes, but its fun!

Our company, The Black Hand, has now completed 8 out of 9 power stones (darn Ghost Ship bugs every time we go looking for it), repeatedly killed the Kraken in smaller and smaller numbers, tamed several drakes and farmed a massive amount of mythos. We have farmed almost every major mythic blueprints (missing nice stats on large sails), and we still have 7-10 people playing. Ignore the haters and naysayers, accept that people have the right to opine and play whatever way they wish, but never give up your own desire and playstyle. Everyone is entitled to their own way to play a game. We are recruiting and look forward to more of Atlas in the days to come.

On Sunday, March 24th, at approximately 5:30 pm Pacific Time, I led a group of players 7 ships with 14 players, into the Kraken encounter. During the fight, we lost 4 players to the lightning tentacle phase. The server then disconnected all of the players mid-fight. We all tried to relog, and after a few short minutes, we were able to rejoin H8. Strangely there was a weird rollback of the server where the encounter had reset and all the dead players were alive on their ships. We attempted phase 1 again with the counter reset to 59:59, and breezed through phase 1. Upon the destruction of all tentacles, phase 2 triggered but the head of the Kraken did not fall and the shield popped up. The shield was then impenetrable. We had no other option than to mass suicide. I then made the decision to rearm and regroup outside H8 and try the encounter once again 30 minutes later. Our second attempt was a success. I could propose suspicions on why the bug or exception errors occurred; however, I am sure your team can find the logs of the encounter as to try to replicate the problem that occurred. I will leave a brief clip of the problem here in a twich clip.

I'm level 82 in the game. I am comfortably high in most skill trees. Although I do know I can't do some of the things I would like, I rely upon my company and alliance to help out. The first thing I noticed about this game was that on official, it is not a solo game. Build the appropriate social contracts and friendships and anything is possible.

I have just tried to fast travel to 4 different beds within my companies outposts. All four times I have spawned into ceilings or foundations unable to move. This fast travel to beds mechanic needs fixing.

I have been hunting lvl 30 SotD for the past few days. I currently have 19 wild lvl 41 crew from killing several lvl 30s. None of these crew receive any hit points from experience levels. They do gain Food, Weight, Stam and Damage. At Level 71 I tried placing all 30 levels into a 41 and it received 0 hp.

I have now seen several different chat badges on official servers. Does anyone have any idea what these are? I have seen Stars and other symbols. Could these be company owners, admins or game masters? Does anyone know? Thanks in advance (wondering about this because I am a contributor to the wiki).

Thanks to everyone that came out. We have just shy of 40 players in our discord, Idon't know the count on ships. We downed the Kraken twice in the few hours of play. Great job everyone.
