How to get to 100? Start off by grinding all the lawless island discoveries. Just the islands. Thats about 5 or 6 hours of work. Then make a shit achooner and go run the poweratones. Kill the whales while youre at it. That is about 3 days work. By the time youre done with that youve got a mex level of about 70. Then do kraken by leeching a kill on a sloop and build a sub. Get the essences, which is like 4 or 5 hrs of work. Your max level should be 90ish at that point. You can grind out more discoveries to hit 100, wouldnt take too long as there are as many as 30ish discoveries in some areas. Once your max level is up there you can either mass ran maps using xp songs or do a cave farm. 2x xp weekends are great for this. It aint hard you just gotta put time and effort into it.

Sucks fellas. Xbox just doesnt have enough horsepower. Betweeen optimizations and the next gen conaole coming out in a year or so hopefully itll get better for yall.

Verify files. Uninstall/reinstall game. Update/reinstall video drivers. Wipe the HDD and start with a fresh Windows 10 install. Honestly, just spitballing here. I run a similarly specced system, with the exception of a 2070 instead of a 2060. I may get a crash once in 8 hours.

They have announced that they will be adding more ship types in the future.

It really doesn't address anything. Many times ship hulls are salvaged and taken or popcorned. All that work to program and animate such a process for what - a once in a blue moon event? We can already salvage a ship and get most of the resources back - IF its not popcorned.

Not sure if it was mentioned cause I only read part way down, but... If you tame in pairs it's a lot easier. Have someone stand far away with a bow and attack/bola the tame. The 2nd person, who should not touch the animal AT ALL except to feed it, should not trigger the animal to attack when approaching it at that point. Cause dude #1 takes all the aggro.

Right. I am attempting to ascertain if I can go back and get the DP. I have all the powerstones. I leeched a Kraken, and it ended up being hard mode. So if I go back and complete regular and collect the essences will I get the DP for it?

I've heard a rumor that if you do hard kraken before regular that you don't get DP for doing regular. Can anyone confirm or debunk?

Sheesh. People these days think everything happens instantly.

There are so many ways to mitigate being wiped. Underwater or hidden caches being one. Allies having a pair of your breeder animals in case all yours get killed in a raid. Using 2 islands with opposite raid timers to store a couple boats in safety at all time. Not that the system doesnt need tweaks but if you learn to expect the wipe you dont have to start from 0.

There is a program on Xbox called Quarrel that will let you use discord through Xbox. Conversely, on PC there is an app called Xbox Beta that lets you chat on the Xbox network. They're both kind of a pain to use.

Fully anchoring takes 15 mins. Its when you get the solid green anchor. If you recently stopped and overweighted it before the 15 min green anchor, then it'll still sink.

Can confirm it happens. If you have a ceiling time right above a cannon and it aims up, it'll hit it. Same thing if you don't put the cannons over the back edge of your ship it'll hit the planks if it aims low.

Or less land stuff more boat stuff?

Considering the strain it puts on xbox already I doubt it.

If your wheel is enclosed you cant use them. Is that the case?

Had plenty of ladder glitches but still never got stuck. They did mention they were intending to fix ladders on boats in the near future(QOL phase i think). This is an EA game. You are a tester. If you want a complete and relatively bug free experience this isn't the place to get it.

Iirc, the hitbox size is the same no matter what size your char is.

Theyre using na pvp as test dummies for the crossplay feature before the launch. Think of it as a 10 day ptr. The thanks you get for helping stress test is 10 days head start over console.

You know what would be cool to make ship building a little less painful? Once a ship has been made you can "save" the design so that you can just load the materials + pieces into the shipyard and it pop out.

It doesn't take that long to breed a pretty good all-around tame. It only takes months if you're looking to squeeze out every little point you can. The one thing that I think is a must is some form of progression. Whatever is best should take longer to get.
