  1. I'd love to see the freeports have things like fist fight arenas where you could make wagers and gambling games which you could sit across from your enemy and take their gold. Right now the freeports are filled with tamed animals and crew on aggressive that option should be removed. But warring factions could meet on these neutral territories spend gold gambling or spend it on wenches an acquire some useful buff perhaps even learn a new local region recipe.
  2. I'd like to see some sort of fighting pits or tournaments on pve.
  3. Over 300 hrs and been playing since day 1. Oh Atlas I want to love you but you make it so damn hard. The learning curve for a small company is brutal. I'm playing PVE NA and I made through loosing a dozen ships to griefers and glitches in the beginning but I rebuilt, managed to find and grab land, acquired and leveled tames and bought some crew, it looked like things were finally getting better. I even made a successful naked run to the FOY. 3 days ago Galleon was sunk by a kited sotd crew was eaten by sharks, ok no big rebuild keep crew indoors until needed. I have learned to put tames in an elevated pen on passive, in the middle, not close to the walls, also double layer the walls with a foundation between. Yesterday I log on and kill an Alpha cobra had eaten all my company's tames though it is still a mystery how. And the icing on the cake? This morning I log in to find that the crew of 10 who were seated around the table in the middle of a stone castle have all been eaten by a lvl 3 lion. How in the actual ****?! Yes I'm whining an yes I'll probably still play cause I love the idea of this garbage game and wish I could fast forward 2 yrs to when its good. Alas for now it's back to square one.
  4. How about that red x that shows you on the map, but too bad you can't see it underneath all those claimed land bits. Sometimes I feel looking at the map is futile.
  5. The way I understand it the overall mentality is that if you find an exploit that helps you win you do it. It isn't done maliciously or to be ugly. Take for instance the way in some countries it's expected that you haggle prices, some countries will be insulted if you tip. In Chinese gaming finding and utilizing the exploits is just another part of the game to them. It really does come down to cultural differences to us it comes across as a personal affront but they are just playing the game the way they play every game. If you want a silver lining, griefing helps devs make corrections to things they didn't even think about before.
