  1. There's still the issue of that spear regardless of quality doing the same damage at lvl53 as it does at lvl1. Plus the hard cap on player HP which leaves us at a disadvantage to even a mid level lion. This game is poorly balanced from top to bottom.
  2. The issue lays with with wild lions ability to grab you. Plus every creature having knock back. Too many wilds have the ability to grab or immobilize you and it's ridiculous. Now if this game was properly balanced I wouldn't have to worry about a lion 20 levels or better below me killing me. If weapons out right didn't suck ass and the damage was scalable to your level this wouldn't be an issue. Atlas claims to a MMO and yes it has some MMO properties, but it isn't balanced like a MMO. How come I scale my ship and tame damage, but not my own like we could in ARK?
  3. Die just die. Seriously I die so often to agressive wilds I don't bother with actually trying to do survival things like cooking, eating, storing food and water, and actually trying not to die. It pointless to even try. Ark is challenging, but fun. At some point you'll be established enough that as long you don't do something dumb like fist fight a Rex you'll actually accomplish something that resembles survival. Dark Souls is a notoriously challenging game, but fun. This game is just dying for what feels like every 5 mins. Mostly to a random agressive wild. Not very fun at all. It makes having a tame at your back at all times absolutely vital to not dying, and not even that is effective all the time. Especially with ducking lions when grab you. On your balancing passes please look into nerfing aggressive wilds especially lions.
  4. There's a lot still wrong and broken with this game. Number one being that there's certain wild animals that if encounter alone you're dead. No amount of leveling will or weapons will save you. You just die.
  5. Wild lions movement, and grabbing needs a nerd. Watching them basically warping around murdering everything in a 10 mile radius is kinda of ridiculous. Not to mention it's not fun to grabbed off a tame and unable to fight back effectively because the lion won't let go. Elephants need a stamina regen buff. Every thing else regens quickly, but not Elephants they take a couple minutes even with a low lvl tame.
  6. And you can't even get that right. 81 degrees is too warm for a bear, and deadly for it. Not too mention how crazy the weather is it doesn't even follow logic. Tropical biome sub freezing nights, and high desert like temps during the day. Oh wait I've seen temps just above freezing during the day too on my tropical slice of hell. Too think there's poor souls trying to attempt this with vanilla rates. Fix breeding, and actually follow logic when it comes to weather. I have never in life seen 80+ degree temperature swings in a 24 hour period. Maybe during over the course of a week, but that's during winter during and after an artic blast/polar vortex. There's hard and challenging, and then there's just broken.
  7. Ark wasn't nearly this unbalanced and broken on EA launch. As it stands now it's a raging a dumpster fire that's all ready got itself a bad reputation, and will be DOA upon completion.
  8. Bears aren't aggressive wilds that charge you from hundred yards away. Ask anyone who has deal with wild lions or tigers on thier island how much of pain they are to deal with. Even if you manage to kill them another one will be around shortly. They seem also to able to see through walls. They're constantly attacking our tame pin. We have wolves too, but they're easy compared to just one lion.
  9. I've almost sunk two ships thanks to this. I'll admit the first one was my fault, but the second the water should have been deep enough. A nice fix would be a small window of immunity on release. It's complete guess work when placing a shipyard whether or not the water is deep enough. It's not like we have a way to measure the depth. All you can do is dive, and eyeball it.
  10. They're far too strong even with heavy armor and 200HP you're no match for them. One tiger or lion can absolutely ruin your day. Outside of of mythical creatures they're the strongest wilds by a long a shot.
