So here is yet another update. I found a treasure map from D3 that points to D4. D4 is my home server and starting freeport. So all I can say right now is that all my findings are only working there.

Just adding to this. Looking around more into it I also notice that in game text chat does not seem to work across regions or death messages across regions while in the same tribe.

I seen a post a while back of people saying that if the server is down for a region the bottle will just vanish with no map. I'm having the same problem but I can access all my servers and zone between them just fine. One item I am noticing I can't find the damn use of the steamleassdata port. No one can really tell me what this port is used for. I have it open on my firewall and so forth but with all my servers that I'm running I never see the port listening for connections. I'm unsure if this is a cause for this or what. When I do find a map it comes up fine but never get one for another zone.

What was the fix?

I'm seeing this same problem. I'm thinking it has something to do with the quality of the bottle because before I left free port I was able to get one map that worked.
