  1. So we intentionally beached a galleon to part it out and it went under our island!!! It is not physically possible for us to get to the remnants I used K view prone to look under map and see the flotsam under the mountain.
  2. its a tag issue not a broken item fire coral and brain coral are supposed to be coral not coal the corals are intended to be replacements for making organic paste not really intended for ship chest I think

The arrow keys in the keybind option menu I rebound them to pet commands but when I leave game and come back the settings in the config say the buttons are bound to what I set them to although the buttons do what the game has them set to as default moving camera view in order to use them for what I changed them to I have to go back to the config and rebind them again and apply this is happens every time I log out somehow the default use for the buttons takes over and I have to reconfig the buttons every login.
  4. Some people were talking about being able to dock ships/mooring them on docks but what about just allowing us to reset out ship into the dry dock state. So we can replace ship planks or rather upgrade ship planks so that we no longer have to pull planks while in water to upgrade them it would also be nice to make more use of the shipyard after ships are built. This could also give an option to disassemble a ship without having to sink it and the resources while docked could be pushed into the shipyard.
  5. Why not just ask for a mooring pillar that could be attached to docks or ceiling tiles/floor tiles or docks

  7. you mean the random spam that all land grabbers be it with flags or with building shipyards foundations pillars its all the same its just different mediums. That is something that the development team needs to work out.
  8. This could easily be remedied by making the area under and on the sea side of the shipyard non-placeable like around a foundation only owners can place under or in front of bay
  9. Core you may as well say 1 claim and I think the 1 claim/core idea was a good idea also Land domination and taxes shouldn't have a place in pve
  10. I agree hard locked claim caps would have fixed this almost completely under the original system. I thought that was sort of but not really what they were already doing by making repair/tax buildings then that all went to crap. When I refer to hard locked claim caps I mean like 1 claim per account the claim areas were large enough you could encompass dock and a modest home under one flag zone easily that would have also forced islands inner areas to be free and clear to be harvested by all and the areas unclaimed could have been under lawless rules so things would decay. This is just my two bits not what I expect but would have been a better plan then what I am seeing now Landlords and taxed area on PvE seems wrong to me in so many ways. Yes my group owned land also but I still think it was wrong.
  11. I 100% agree with this opinion this is something that belongs in pvp but not pve if anywhere. Were here to have fun not to have to work for someone else to gain. This idea essentially leans towards making the game more of a job then somewhere to go relax and have fun.
  12. Well for PvE I personally was excited to hear that we were going to be able to live anywhere with a non claimable land. The new idea as far as I understand it doesn't really fix anything but invites many ways to exploit the newer system. I see the Mega Guilds breaking into smaller guilds to exploit amount of land they can grab even without alliances only switching to discord or other chat mediums to communicate. It will appear that there are more guilds but in reality it will just be the mega guild split into chunks for hording purposes. I own/owned land with my group and as I see it the land claim system for islands seems just as dumpy as it was before giving any one person a whole island is selfish even if it was me getting it. Boohoo I cant own an island there is no domination system on PvE I got it when I was playing on PVP but on pve it seems silly/ridiculous to let individuals claim land in larger chunks then they already could before. Short of adding more land then water the land claim system will almost always be exploited in some way that will imply grief on the community.
  13. So started today Tamed animals are not rendering there still pooping and preventing travel through them but I cant see them I logged out and back in completely restarted game 1 animal is rendering other 5 aren't

Im on Official server and since I patched today I cant communicate with NPC Crew members even if I destroy the chairs when I look at them and use E it targets wall or panel behind them I can't control them through my ship commands either not responding at all. Here is what I tried so far to fix this. 1 tried closing game all the way and reopening 2 tried killing self 3 tried killing self then zoning to different server and zoning back 4 tried validating files on steam (Phew long wait for that) 5 tried breaking chairs and talking to them although I can get the radial to show up when I did that I still couldn't get the npc to respond to commands Yes I checked to make sure I had gold on my ship and larder was full. Is there something I am missing to try or am I fundamentally broken now?
  15. I am having issues myself on crocs since a couple patches back if your fighting them face to face can no longer hit with bear I have to move bear to side now in order to get successful hits till the croc turns and I have to move again to hit
