  1. I assumed this was the case, so then what are the reasons for needing characters loaded before collision objects as things are loaded in for your client? One would think the order of things would be the simple solution to the problem within a given space from your character. This would also solve a problem of people getting trapped inside of other's facilities due to riding around on mounts and structures loading in after the fact.
  2. From npc's on ship working their way up from the bottom of a ship to the top deck and then falling off, to tames falling through multiple (3+) levels of stone floors to get stuck in another wall or floor. What I want to know is HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?! Everything in this game has collision, but apparently somehow collision means nothing. I've seen people say use this type of material, use ceilings with pillars, etc. etc. but for some animals NOTHING matters. The only thing I can begin to recommend to people at this point is to not paint your bears, because out of my 4 bears, 1 I pained and he falls through floors daily. I claimed a bear from a different company who also falls through the floor fairly regularly though not as much as my painted one. The bears I've tamed and haven't painted seem to have an easier time of staying where they should be. As you can tell from the image below, pillars don't even help the situation. Came back to my island to find these two that fell through not one but 3 stories to get to this position! 3 stories!!! What kind of collision or loading issues do you have to fall through that many floors?!
  3. My company of 5 people has already grown beyond Journeyman level armor, though when and if there is a market for said gear, sellers will need to probably have an assortment of quality if they aim to cater to the masses. Though my company keeps aiming higher because that's the point of the game, and there are too many things that require resources to burn mats on lesser quality gear that my guys won't wear.
  4. OK, just so we're being clear and on the same page. with the amount of effort that goes into collecting the materials needed to create Legendary and Mythic level armor. Are you so easily going to have the gold you need to be able to purchase this gear when not on your own home island where I'm assuming your stores of gold might be located? People haven't begun to sell much of this stuff currently is my guess, but I can see gear costing thousands of gold. So you'll be able to carry that around to simply buy something off of someone else? No, the more likely answer is that you'll find someone within your company who can do it, or find some way to slug through doing it yourself. I'm my company's high int crafter, and my bonuses are starting to grow nicely on what I make. Plus, if I intend on upgrading any of these Legendary+ items those upgrades alone could cost into the thousands of gold, so I question your capability of easily being in a position to afford purchasing high end armor... You add to the fact that with some effort you can craft the stuff on your own because of the skill tree requiring it, and I wonder which route you actually end up taking?
  5. I agree 100%. The way it's currently setup does not lend itself to fostering a thriving economy.
  6. Pretty much every day I log in to finding one or 2 of my bears ALWAYS falling through the floor. Regardless of touching a wall or not. WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING A RAISED AND PROTECTED BUILDING IF YOUR ANIMALS JUST FALL THROUGH ALL THE FREAKING TIME?! It makes me wonder if the size of the structure I have is causing this. A very simple solution for it though would be to have structures finish loading in before the living creatures would it not? Lets go dev's... get this fixed please.
  7. You might be able to make it to the mouth of the cave solo so long as noone has trained 6 rock golems into the valley right at the mouth of the cave, and if you do manage to get in, there are bats that need dispatched if they haven't already been. Long story short, unless people have cleared the way to some extent, it's not soloable.
  8. The Rhino's knockback is certainly a pain, but just like the other tames, you just need to learn how and where to do it so you don't get hit. EZ PZ. When it comes to tames Rhino's, like the gentleman up above said are easier to feed than others. For instance, I find Bulls and Giraffes way harder. If you're using traps, where they are and the direction they are facing in the trap is important for determining the angle you approach feeding from, but as the gentleman above said you always want to feed from the stomach if you have the direct line to be able to do so.
  9. Sailing my boat home. F6. about to cross into F7. Kicked. I'm sure nothing will likely be done for those who've lost ships due to this. First the update rollback killed 2 of our ships last night, and now this connection issue may just kill our 3rd Brig. I swear this is getting extremely trying!!!!
