  1. Just here to bump it up, even a short trip to get crew for my Galleon at a Freeport cost me hundreds of materials in repair, simply for being here.
  2. Similar issue with me as I tried to build a structure at the front of the ship.
  3. Since the shark update, I've figured I'd use the Dinghy to go and rescue crew that drops out of the ships of the damned, as the galleon is not manoeuvrable enough to get close to them. However, I cannot make them jump aboard (the option is greyed out), and soon after recruitment, they aggro a shark, and end up getting eaten up. It should be possible to move floating crew onto a dinghy with the command.
  4. While using my diving suit to recover a shipwreck, I somehow ran out of stamina without doing any special actions. It made getting back up to the surface nearly impossible, as I kept getting a "Not enough stamina to jump" message. I managed to swim back up, but was limited down to a snail's pace, while "bouncing" on the spot.
  5. I'm not sure if the lack of automatic repair on non-hull parts of the ship is done for a specific balance purpose, but if it's not going to be implemented, there should at least be a way to see which parts of the ship need repairs, like an indicator that's only visible when holding a repair hammer.
  6. Just wanted to reiterate that point. If not all parts, there should at least be a way to easily gauge which parts are damaged. Perhaps labelling them with an icon when holding the repair hammer. But automatic repairs ought to affect all parts of the ship.
  7. Even when set to "Target Only Ships", crewmembers will randomly shoot at passing fish if set on fire at will.
  8. Logging off, and back on, while still having the sextant buff, keeps the sextant buff on, but doesn't reapply the visual compass indicator at the top of the screen. It is impossible to re-do the sextant minigame to try and reacquire it.
  9. After l've logged off earlier today, and tried to log back in, I receive this error each time I attempt to join the server again. I've tried both the button to join last server, or manually rejoining from the server list, to no avail. Fatal error! 10. Agreed, a rebalance ought to happen at some point, hopefully giving humans more ways to defend themselves and fight.
  11. I'm not certain if it's due to their low levels, but even smaller ships of the damned feel like they should give more than a few coins, besides the crewmembers to save. A lone shipwreck has a chance to give much more and is much less dangerous to retrieve.
  12. Whenever my fellow crew member reaches equilibrium (at perfect numbers on each vitamin type), the buff lasts for about two seconds, and resets back to the thirty minute cooldown.
  13. According to the patchnotes, I've come to understand that taxing in PvE only added ressources, without deducting any. But I have checked after some calculations, that gold, at least, still seems to get taxed at the shown percentage. I'm not sure if this is intended, or an oversight issue.
  14. Ships can't be renamed yet, it'd be a good feature to have.
  15. Toggling all ladders with L from the steering wheel worked, but the option to manually adjust each remains gone.
  16. A first glitch I encountered was trying to climb up on the emergency ladder of my sloop while anchored: The character does get into position, but then moving around only resumes swimming around, making it impossible to climb up. A second glitch that happened just now is that I've found all ladders on my sloop rolled up, with no way to deploy them, the option is gone from the radial menu, from every angle. I'll add that the diving platform attachment seems to give an odd glow, as if the specular maps were wrong:
  17. Agreed, not sure how to even struggle out of that bite move, it's very frustrating.
  18. When I logged in today, the bow I had was gone from my inventory, and I cannot craft another one: Clicking the button does not produce anything. I can craft everything else just fine.
  19. Earlier today, when using my sloop, I have trouble toggling the anchor up or down. After some fiddling, I manage to sail off, but noticed the anchor was actually doing the inverse of what it was marked as: When the anchor was up, the ship acted as if anchored. When the anchor was down, I could sail around, but still dragged behind me an ever lengthening chain, that was making the framerate drop the further away I got. When crossing regions, the chain remained, and even reset its position up into its center.
  20. Same issue here, using Resin.
  21. I'll admit I haven't read the whole post yet, but one thing is certain: removing claims entirely is not the solution. Yet again today I've ran into clans that completely walled off entire sections of islands with foundations on lawless islands, which basically is the same issues as the islands where everything's already claimed using flags. They don't even use that space, they spam thatch foundations until nothing is useable in it anymore. Fewer, smaller claims per person would be a good start.
  22. Sloops should probably be much faster, at last when lightly loaded.
  23. Premade, larger structures would be nice, with a few slots here and there for customization. Already touched on the subject about it potentially removing those weird gate-walls all over, but having houses closer to the kind we can see in free ports and similar would be another neat addition.
  24. Agreed, implementing the combination of all these changes might just be enough if done right. I could see some palisade, and then stone wall blocks made specifically for that.
